Holy Crap!

I'm sorry folks... but I'm trying real hard not to break my arm from patting myself on the back!

Back in January I had this "itch" to see if I could dig real hard into Squidoo and do a case study to see what kind of results I could get (traffic/leads/conversions).

In my first test... I did some keyword research and I created a quick lens that promoted a site/blog that I created for a PLR product.

To my surprise... I was able to rank on page 1 for the keyword (title of the lens) within 24 hours... which really wasn't that surprising, because the main keyword doesn't get that many hits.

But still.. to rank on page 1 within 24 hours had me a little excited nonetheless... even my feedagg link was on page 1.

So I went "back to the lab", and this time I took screenshots of what I did, and jotted detailed instructions. I wanted to rank high for multiple keywords on one lens... and... well...

Tips For Burning Belly Fat - I stopped searching after page 6, but interestingly enough... some of my RSS feed links ranks as high as page 4.

My whole mission for this case study to see how high I could rank for multiple keywords on 1 single lens... and although I couldn't do it in 24 hours (which was another test)... I think it turned out pretty good.

I haven't touched that lens since I created it. I submitted it to feed submission sites after I created the lens, and hasn't touched it since. I only went back to test because I was curious to see how the lens was doing.

I think that if I actually promote the lens by writing some articles and sending more traffic to it... I may get some conversions out of the thing.

Well.. just wanted to share some news.
