Do You Outsource Some of Your Work, and How Much?

Hey everyone, I just wanted to get an idea of what the rest of you do as far as outsourcing, and I figure we can all learn something from each other.

I have way too many ideas and I never have enough time to do all the work myself. But I also am too much of a perfectionist/I don't think they'll understand what I want, so I very rarely outsource any of my work.

Some questions to answer:

Do you outsource some of your work?

What type of work do you outsource?

How many hours per week of work is outsourced to other people?

How much money do you spend on outsourcing, and for comparison, how much money do you make on the business you use outsourcing for?

If you're so inclined, name how you do your outsourcing, or the site you use for outsourcing.

Thanks! Hope to learn a lot from you all!

Suggest you break down the things that need to be done to make outsourcing easier. Those monotonous tasks is the best to outsource. But those decision making tasks, you will be the best person to do it. Besides Freelancer, you can try Elance, Odesk, Bestiobs & e07.net.

All the best to you. Best regards,

I've used odesk and I've found a couple quality people on there to do some writing tasks for me. That's the only thing I can outsource because everything else is too particular for me. It will take me the same amount of time to explain what I want as it would for me to just do it...

Such as a little bet for some money. However, I have more good experience rather then bad when I outsourced some of works.

I often outsourced content writing work and video creations.
Not sure I counted all money I spent, for a good work, I could get 2x up to 4x from the dollars I spent.

        Hi Lisha,

With Warriors For Hire section, you only have to filter all those services. When you're on that section, look at the very bottom and find the 'Display Option' area. Then, you can filter all services. If you need content writing services, select 'Content,' if you need programming services, select 'Programmer,' etc.

We can attest that this is true. Most of our clients are outsourcing their content writing needs to us. We have clients who are looking for services other than ours, too.

  • You can outsource as much or as little as you want. But if you want to outsource everything (yes, it is possible) you'll need to change your mindset. You'll have learn how to delegate, how to manage, and invest time in training and building a relationship with your employees.
I think the best place to start for you would be hiring a VA to do the menial repetitive tasks. A full time employee that you can eventually train to take on more complicated tasks. For really good VAs, you can check the warriors for hire, bestjobs.ph, or onlinejobs.ph
