Warriors,

Has anyone received a response from a customer via PayPal that his or her purchase was not done by them but by some midnight bandit that accessed their account? I mean this may be legitimate but then again just another way to rip another off. I have experience in getting loads of sales in PayPal with very little refunds but yet once in a while I get this unauthorized transaction dispute. Is there any way to beat these with PayPal if these people really are just trying to get out of paying for your products so they can get it for free?

Please, I would love to hear how you would respond to PayPal regarding this.

Be careful I once got a email looked very pro and said disputes@paypal.com and then said I had a unauth transaction and I was going to get $590 USD back. I cant remember paying that so I just del the email, logged on to my account and yeah was bullshit. I just dont get how they had the address @paypal.com ?

Here is what I do with PayPal disputes.

I just write back on the PayPal dispute providing the IP address and date stamp of the purchase and explain that it is a digital product.

I also tell PayPal that I do have a 30 day refund policy and would have refunded the amount if the client asked for it.

Many of these get decided in my favor.

    Sorry Warriors,

I had to step out for part of the day after I posted this but wow, very viable and valuable info here. I appreciate the scam alert as well. Yeah, I just hate it when you work so hard and then feel that you get someone doing this to you for free product(s). Just making sure I was not alone. The tighter of customer service I run along with better and better products I still get this at times. The more sales of course the ratio repeats itself like 1 in every 250 sales but it makes me feel at times like I am not doing my job here to make everything solid.

I also had a guy say he had not received the download link and so I validated his dispute, owned it and sent it to two emails he had provided and then asked him to let me know if he got it and if he would close his dispute. You know what, 13 emails later he did not reply back EVER but PayPal did rule in my favor PHEW!!!

Nice Warriors, Nice! Thanks for that!

***Please let me know if any of you have nice prewritten canned PayPal dispute reply's like non receipt of product, unauthorized dispute, etc. I would really be interested in that as I turn up the throttle on my orders this year.

    Thanks!
