For me personally, as someone who doesn't spin articles, no I wouldn't create 5,000 orginal articles.

I understand what you are getting at, and maybe I would if my focus was all on SEO and getting ranked on the first page of Google.

But most of my traffic comes from paid banner ads that I put in blogs and forums where I know that my target audience frequents. I also have a lot of traffic from JV's.

This is my strategy and it works for me.

Maybe you can answer a question that I have. I have never understood article spinning. I know that alot of people do it like you mentioned above to get backlinks.

So I understand that and that makes sense.

But after you have spun an article can you see what it looks like in the spinning article software before you send it out, or do those software programs send it out automatically after they are spun?

And what is the quality of those articles? Because I have come up on some blogs and their articles seem to have been written as if by a robot. The words are jumbled and the content itself doesn't make any sense. Is that an example of a spun article?

I do understand that some software is probably junk and spits our these kind of articles and some are probably way better.

If you see that your article is all jumbled up would you still send it out because all you are focused on is the backlink?

I just wouldn't want someone to come along see an article that says it was written by me or one that points to my site and see the content as all jumbled up and not making any sense. I would be worried about what kind of impression that would leave on a potential customer.

The reason I am asking is because my knowledge in this area whoefully inadequate.

And if there is a good article spinning software that does spit out good articles that make sense them it might be something I would be interested in looking at

Ok.Theres auto spinning where you just click a button and it creates you a load of jibberish.I would never use this for backlinking!

Some people use it to backlink there backlinks but its a bit spammy im not interested in that.

But then there's manual spinning going through it a rewriting sentences and words checking it makes sense

No tool will automatically create human readable content. And yes you can check your spun article before distributing.

I used to write articles and submit them but it took up to much time. I now use auto blog software along with unique content. It works really well and I have a couple of sites that are auto blogs and are on the first page of google for very competitive keywords. Even with all the Panda etc. updates by Google these sites still rank on the first page.
