Best Hotel Affiliate/White Label Program

I'm trying to setup some geosites (city-travel portals) like the ones on this page: http: // geopublishers.com/about-geo-publishers/720

And I'm trying to figure out what's the best and most profitable way to include a hotel reservations system on the site.

I signed up as an affiliate with HotelsCombined.com, which basically gives you hotel reservation widgets, and then signed up as an affiliate with EAN (Expedia's network). EAN gives you a white label travel page and widgets, or API site integration (though I haven't been able to find a demo of what that looks like, and I'm not a coder). From what I understand, EAN pays a 5% commission.

Many of the geosites at the geopublishers link above have hotel reservations right on their site - fully integrated. I can't figure out what system they're using for it, but I'd like to find the best, most profitable one and use it on several new geosites.

Any info or advice is greatly appreciated!

        Hi,

was with hotelscombined recently, after I got my first payment of $120 a couple of days ago, they announced to close my account, because I´ve not generate any sales for the last two month. Additionally they keep the unpayed payment generated so far.

So be aware, you are payed by lead, but if you do not generate sales also (you are not payed for that) they kick you off.

I built a nice travel blog around that, ranking Google 1. place for my main keyword and now it is all worthless.

Anybody can recommend a reliable travel affiliate, which works for different languages and offers text links directly to the hotel page?

In the travel affiliate industry it's more about how they track your traffic than anything else. Nobody is going to be on your site, see the booking system and decide to buy right then. The people using those widgets are just looky-loos curious about what it would cost. They aren't buying today. It'll be a week or a month later, and they'll be going directly to the travel site. With that in mind, you want the affiliate program with the most aggressive tracking methods. Really keep an eye on this stuff. Every affiliate program in every industry tries to come up with ways to screw their affiliates over. The big affiliate programs have meetings where they brainstorm how to get out of paying affiliates.

For instance, if you look at Expedia.com they are pushing their mobile app. So you send a desktop user, Expedia turns them on to using the app and they make reservations with the app and you don't get credit because your affiliate cookie is on their desktop computer and IP tracking doesn't work since they moved to their phone internet. This is called a traffic leak and affiliate programs love them. It isn't necessarily a dealbreaker, but this is the kind of thing you need to consider when choosing affiliate programs.
