Qassia: The Next Ezinearticles?

Hi guys,

I found out about Qassia.com a few weeks ago, and I finally signed up today to give it a try. Seems like an excellent content-sharing site, where you get 100% of the adsense revenues plus do-follow backlinks to your site.

I do have some questions to those familiar with it:

1) Can you have backlinks within the article itself? How many maximum backlinks are you allowed to put within the article content?

2) Qassia says "You may republish the content elsewhere, but only AFTER it has been screened and published on Qassia." The only way to get it published is to have 12 users screen it. What if you didn't get 12 users? Won't the content get published?

Thanks so much,
Michael

I'm almost sure that links 'within' your article are somewhat discouraged, but... Here's an excerpt from what they say at their site:
How can my websites get exposure and traffic at Qassia?
A prominent link to your website ...
    1. A prominent link to your website - with screenshot - will be displayed every time your intel is displayed or referenced.
    2. Your websites will be displayed when users browse through our tag-based directory. We will display a limited number of websites at the top of the page, in the space other sites use for "sponsored results". (The main space on the page, below, is reserved for intel.) How do we select the limited number of sites to display? We choose those sites that are owned by the users with the largest number of Qassia dollars in their account.

As for this part... Those who screen your content, they get "credits", also called Qassia dollars, which help with point 2, above...

    HTH...

Hmm... from what you've mentioned regarding the content usage, I'd really be hoping to get a lot out of that directory if I'm not going to be able to re-use my own content elsewhere at the same time.

IE, if you need to create unique content for it, I sure hope you're getting a fair return... that said it would be great to find such a place!

In the past I've had the "required" screenings done in almost no time,
and as stated, "You may republish the content elsewhere, but only AFTER
it has been screened and published on Qassia."
      , you can republish fairly
quickly, maybe even in as little as a couple of hours...

I like Qassia because of the way it is designed to promote your site. My article was approved within a day or so. I use an article spinner so that I don't have to worry about duplicate content. Also, you don't want too many links to your site in the article body. A good article with one link at the bottom is sufficient.

Once again I've been isolated living on this island, had not heard of Qassia until this post. Looks really interesting, has anyone received any traffic using this?

Thanks, ECS. Got a few more questions if you don't mind:

When I click on any tag at the left side of the Qassia homepage, it leads to a page where relevant sites are listed. My question: How do you get your site listed on the tag of your choice? I think you got to have lots of Qassia dollars; but aside from that, how can you let Qassia know that your site should be listed on a particular tag?

On "My Site," is the "SEO title" the specific keywords you'd like to target for your site?

When adding an Intel, is it better to leave the "Geographical Tags" blank for wider reach, or is it better to specify the places where you'd like your Intel to be seen?

When adding an Intel, is it better to put general keywords in the "Topical Tags" like "Health" which happens to be one of the main tags in the Qassia homepage? Or is it better to put more specific keywords in the "Topical Tags" like "weight loss" or even "fast weight loss diet"?

    Thanks,
    Michael

Oh my, I'm now the go-to guy for Qassia, LOL (not)
But I will try to answer your questions to the best of my
      wee bit of knowledge...

      Yes, lots of Q$
You use the "tags" that you want targeted, is my best guess...

That, again according to my best guess, is "Affirmative Sir".
It's what I do anyways... LOL

I leave it blank, much like (and I may garner some objections,
or suggestions - either is good) I do with AdWords...
I target EVERYWHERE (in Qassia, that would mean
leaving that blank), unless I know a limitation for
      a certain area...

I tend to be more specific here, but...
I also consider it on an "intel" by "intel"
basis, if general suits, use 'em...
