Do you guys think it is a good idea to have .com after your website name in the header? Does it make a difference or am I over thinking this issue way too much?

Thanks.

I've never had the tld extension in my header on the site. I would personally say that you are over thinking it too much and you're just placing a needless roadblock in front of yourself.

Nope. No need to put the .com ext.

You can, but I don't see much point in it. They already know the url or they wouldn't be there.

I think you should include the .com as part of your regular logo (that may be used elsewhere.) So then, when they get to the site, that same imagery creates a familiarity. Also, it can't hurt to put it, so why not? Especially if someone else has the .net and .org, etc. This reminds them of where they are.

It's like the movie channels that put their "bug" logo down in the corner so you always know what channel you're watching.
