Is There Any Way to Salvage These Sites?

INTERNET MARKETING

These are my first two attempts at website building and affiliate marketing. I am getting a little traffic but no sales yet. I would like to add an opt in page but have not figured out enough html to add a privacy policy to my footer as of yet.
Be brutal. All criticism will only help the learning curve for me.

For the SmartWarcrafter.com website I would work on setting some better colors for the text, it works great lower down the page but the top most important half is hard to read and will turn people away.

The background image is catchy and will catch peoples initial eye and you can work from that by moving your header over to the left some more to inform them just exactly what the website is all about.

They get that its a WoW website but which part of WoW users are you targeting, try and make that clear.

  Thanks googleplex. I will work on it. Did you have a chance to look at the golf site? I like the clean look but I'm afraid I'm not much of a salesman. DOH:confused:
