Hey there, I have been going through posts in this Forum for quite a while now and have finally decided to take a step towards earning money online ( I have been meaning to take that step for the last 3 years but have just convinced myself that I was still in the 'learning phase').

Anyways, I have an account in facebook that has around 2000 friends and I decided to use that. I went onto clickbank and chose to sell an ebook called Farmville Secrets.

But here is the real problem! How do I get people to buy the ebook? I don't have enough money to buy a domain name and hosting so creating a website is not an option. I want some advice on how to expose the product to the many thousands of potential buyers and get some Facebook Traffic.

This is my first post btw, so I hope I can get some help. I have finally decided to take the step where I actually do something, so I hope I get some support from the people here.

Well, I thought about creating a blog, but the thing is, how do I get traffic to that blog from Facebook?
      Btw, thank you.

Getting traffic from facebook is easy. In your dashboard there will be a box that says sharing, I think...you link your facebook site to your wordpress, you click publicize and everytime you make a post it shows up on your page. Very, very easy.

Hi - What I would do is buy a cheap .info domain name from namecheap.com (cost about $5) make sure to include the word farmville in the domain name.

Then get you clickbank affiliate code for the farmville product, next set up a free domain forwarding via namecheap (search youtube for how to forward a domain)

Finally join the various facebook farmville groups, interact in there and add value to the group and where appropriate share your new domain URL, which will automatically redirect to the clickbank product.

I would probably also get someone on fiverr to blast my URL to there facebook follows (cost $5)

There are of course loads more options, but if you take action you will get some sales this way - Hope this helps:-)

    Regards
    Khemba

      .

I was going to say the same thing if the offer allows for social media traffic. If you already have friends that you want to market to, and you have zero funds to purchase a domain, then just link directly to the sales page within Facebook.

Well, I actually did post it as my status and also posted it on a few FarmVille related pages, but I think I need a better way to get more attention. Thank you for the help though. 

Well, then if I can't use a domain name that's related to Farmville, what do you suggest I should use coz as far as I know, I should have a domain name related to FarmVille.

Also, is there any way of knowing which of my friends who play FarmVille buy FarmVille cash? If there was a way, that would help me as I would know more specifically who to target to promote the ebook to. This is my first try at it so any criticism is appreciated. Thank you all for the replies. 

You can use a site that is a "gamer" site, just don't use trademarks!

In regards to your other question about creating a blog, generating traffic would be the same principle, through status updates on Facebook and/or creating a page on Facebook.
I would agree with this. Why wouldn't you just send people directly from facebook to the clickbank product? You don't even need a website.

Unless you can't post clickbank affiliate products on Facebook... that might be the problem...

Or you could even just create a blogspot blog, or a blogzam.com blog.

By coming up with a promotional method that includes the three basic essentials of selling ClickBank products described here: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post6737670

Personally, I would try to promote that Farmville-related product only to people whom I already know are specifically interested in Farmville. (And even then, I'd expect the great majority of those who are to have been shown its sales page once or twice before, so I'd need a pretty special relationship with them for them to decide to buy it through my link).

I'm an affiliate, not a salesperson, and I have no wish to be persuading people to be interested in something. I need only people who were already looking for information about it before they found me, and that was why they found me.

    This is incorrect.

Becoming better informed and changing your perpective on that matter will significantly increase your chances of making some money. At the moment you need accurate information more than you need "action".

There are several ways of creating and owning your own website without having any money (or a credit-card).

Certainly you should stay away from places like Blogger, Squidoo and HubPages, where you can never own or control your own site, and the rules keep changing as well as being inconsistently and idiosyncratically interpreted and enforced, but there's nothing at all to stop you from having your own self-hosted Wordpress blog(s) on good, reliable, free hosting.

I wish you very good luck whatever you try to do, but trying to sell a ClickBank product to social network traffic without even having a website is really stacking the deck firmly against yourself, IMHO. And in the context of an activity at which far more people fail than succeed, in the first place.

look It's a good thing that you are getting going on internet marketing.

First thing is to learn how to do SEO Optimized Blogging based on Keyword Research.
You will have to have your own website, and I agree you should use wordpress.

At first you can sell your services in different market places. This way will have a good amount of capital and then start with CB.

Well, right now, I am trying to build up a relation with people through messaging and then trying to send them to visit my affiliate link from there. Haven’t made anything yet, but hoping to do so soon.

Well, the thing is, I want to have atleast one sale from this, so that I can use the money to get domain name and hosting and create a more substantial business.

Thank you for all the advice again. I really appreciate them. Also, I would be grateful if you could answer some more questions.

    1. I have a paypal account and have $5 in it. What do you think is the best way to spend this money?
    2. I live in Bangladesh, so I can’t verify my paypal here. Is there any way that I can use to verify my paypal account free of cost?
    3. Lastly, and importantly, is there any way of knowing which friends in my friend’s list in Facebook use real money to buy FarmCash? That way I can have a specific range of people to work with?

These are the current hurdles that I can’t seem to overcome right now so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all again.
