MERCHANTS! What do your affiliates do that you'd prefer they didn't?
Even though we appreciate our active and aggressive affiliates, one of our pet peeves as a merchant is when an affiliate for example decides to act like an official representative of our company, and sets up a complete Facebook page under our product name.
The person then either makes really spammy looking posts leading to our product, or writes posts where it is obvious that English is not their first language, or they simply set up the FB page really fast one time, and then leave it alone (empty) no likes, no nothing, which makes our product appear really really sad.
Before you know it, we have Google showcasing a Facebook page filled with spammy posts, bad English, 1 like, and our name attached.
What is "your" pet peeve as a merchant that you can add to this post that might educate affiliates to help increase products sales for us all, as opposed to doing damage. Active professional affiliates should add their input here as well.
