Hi friends. Quick question to start things off.

Are you skilled enough to create a project and always make a certain amount of money.

e.g. I will create an eBook that will at least net me $1000.

there are those of us who are skilled enough to have a very, very good idea of what we could possibly make, but there is never ever a 100% guarantee.

If anyone says they can guarantee you 100% that you will make X amount of money, then they are probably wanting you to give them money

  • In the past, making such projections was much easier than in these unpredictable days.

Many marketers and companies are achieving income results that are further away from the target figures that they originally planned for.

This is ofcourse is because your income depends on people buying, and if your target audience happens to be watching their budget, they may not spend as much money as they would have in a better economy. No matter how exciting your product is.

Having said that, creating a product and not earning $1000 from it would be a waste of time resources for my company.

All of our products have achieved that amount and much more.

Therefore its safe to say that yes, I can create a product and always make a certain amount of money. I.E. know that it will earn $1000.

P.S. Much of your success with a product is in the marketing, not just the creation.

Exactly. I asked, because I personally believe IM skills are very similar to other skills. For example, a painter know his or her own limitations. A painter who is a good realist won't try to become an impressionist over a night.

I think it is possible to make those types of predictions if you have a highly responsive list to market to. That's why it's true when they say that the money is in the list.

  • Many IM'ers are able to create something worthy of calling a product,
but making the expected income from it, seems to be the challenge for most.

Since your original question asked regarding being "skilled enough to create a project and always make a certain amount of money." therefore I added in my P.S. That "Much of your success with a product is in the marketing, not just the creation.".

It's important to separate the venture into 2 required skills.

1.Product creation and 2. Making Money from that product. (Marketing).
