Quick question about Aweber and Follow-Up messages..

I want to re-arrange my follow up messages, and part of this involves me moving certain messages further along the sequence.

However, my concern is that my subscribers will see the same follow-up message twice.

My question... When somebody subscribes, do they get the sequence at the time of when they opted-in? Or will they be affected by changes that you make?

I hope that made sense, took me long enough to word it.

How do I know this? Simple, I have done that myself.

  • If you move follow up messages while your subscribers are in the middle of your sequence, it could cause a person to receive the same message twice, or miss a message in your sequence. One example is if you moved message #1 (welcome to my list) to position #3 (some topic), and someone already received #1 and #2, they would then receive your original message #1 (Welcome), again. Because it's now in the #3 position.

Yes - each subscriber will be affected by any changes you make distal to their current position in the series.
