Hello! Welcome into the internet marketing world! I hope you get to earning as soon as possible. I remember when I first started and all of the things I've learnt from this forum. Read some posts and get right to action. WF is a perfect place to start the journey of earning online.

I recommend learning as much as you can to start, and then just jump right in to it. Whatever it might be but just make sure to take action. If it's SEO, Copy writing, Ghost Writing, Squidoo or blogging. Freelancing or even just Data entry jobs. Get started right away! The more you experience the better off you will be!

Honestly ... I wouldn't blow 10K to get "Magic" coaching. The magic happens when 10K is transferred from your bank account to his. There's so much free information on this forum and people to give you advice and much cheaper products to learn from ... save your money and spend it when you've learned enough that you know what you want to spend it on.

You will need to buckle down and do the research yourself and find something you are interested in. Once you've determined that, then spend a little money to learn whatever is necessary to make it work.

Don't blow 10K.

Do NOT blow $10k before you have a single client. It's not necessary and it will put you in the whole before you start. You can learn everything you need to get clients online for free, it just takes some extra work. Save your money and invest it in creating a business for yourself.

The best way to learn internet marketing is to do it. Get started. If you can't get a paid client then work for free. You need to start implementing some of the stuff you already know and are learning. Getting a degree in IM isn't necessary - experience is. So get started!

... oh, and when that phone call comes from the call center or whatever method he's using to close this deal, hang up. They're good at what they do, which is parting people and their money. I've never heard a single person say that they were glad they spent 10K on any one program, but I've heard plenty say they felt like they got ripped off.

Honestly, I'm not calling Kern a scammer. Don't know what he'll provide for that money, but I can tell you this ... you can build a business based mostly on the information and help here and only spend a very small fraction of that 10K.

Do not spend anything near 10k on any kind of coaching.
Do not pursue a "degree" in IM.

Read and learn as much as you can for a while.
Maybe buy a few inexpensive guides or programs.
If you're going to spend money, put it towards outsourcing something or paying for some traffic to test an offer.

Looks like the op just wants reassurance before parting with his money.

Frank Kern is decent, he was a Traffic Geyser Gent with Mike Koenigs one of the upper coaches, I spent time with that group for about a Year learned a lot, but just as sbucciarel stated its all in the reading, learn, learn, read, read, you will find that you will be inundated with info pretty soon, not only that but everyone wants to be a mentor, coach, Guru, its about finding your niche, I for one got sick of all the hype and began marketing the marketers. sbucciarel can attest to my comment or throw it away for what its worth. I have been in this industry since the 80s and made some pretty bank in the 90s and now the industry is so selective and overloaded with Act Now, MLM, Affiliate, get rich quick schemas that its hard to find the authentic stuff. After the Facebook movie came out we all had a limited time before the Corporations got into the Game. I could be rambling on, and probably am, since i havent posted much in the warrior forum and am not a golden War Room Member yet, but really. Im just an honest worker, doing authentic content, its hard, it takes time, but its not automated, just good old fashion work. I was once told, the money looks good in my pocket not theirs, so the popularity of the net or coach, guru, is about getting more followers, and those followers are to pay a percentage and that feeds the system of choice. Forex, Gold, Diet Pills, Social Media, Design, Software, Hardware, IT experts, share share share, just as stated before, a good coach or experienced person will share, and RESPOND to their emails, questions, or concerns, and not be an automated BOT. Its all about interactivity, authentic interactivity from a person, cause we all know when a bot hits us. I am going to reiterate what the others have said: Don't spend $10,000 on coaching. Simply read and assimilate information for free. Then, create a strategy, apply it, modify it when required and generate money.

Having come late to this thread, I would just like to say that Frank Kern seems like a top chap if he told you not to join his program as a total newbie.

I know many other guru coaches that would have taken your $10K and the failure would have been down to 'you not being ready' rather than their program not being effective.

Here's my advice which is slightly counter to what other people have said:

1. Learn - but not to the point of information overload
2. Get a mentor - they will guide you through it. Pick one who has a proven track record, but will not charge you $10K!
3. Learning isn't earning. If you spend all your time learning, you will do only that. Make sure you take action once you have learned something that works.

As I went through all of the posts, I'm thinking to myself: this guy is going to spend $10,000 in spite of all of the advice to the contrary.

In the end, Kern said JacobR was not a good fit for the program. He saved $10,000.

For me, the price tag for learning Internet Marketing cannot be bought rather it needs to be earned. You need to go back to school and learn all you can, while taking action. Learn a bit...then take more action.

Keep taking action...or as Walt Disney said: "Keep Moving Forward"...

I'm not saying you could not benefit from a $10,000 coaching program, but you need to have something to take to the table first..

You need to take action, fail, take action, and fail again...learn more and keep moving forward.

It's the taking action that seems to paralyze many Internet Marketers..yeah, I've been guilty of it to...

But I dust myself off and get back on the horse and take more action...

Stick to a few core methods, focus on them, see if they work for you, adjust what's working and do more of it!

Before you spend lots of money buying products, joining membership sites, etc., get access to those 'free' offers and learn. You'll need time and experience. And it's important to develop an ability to separate what's good and what's bad, what's true and what's false ... all the best.

$10k for coaching? He would have to be at my house at the kitchen table for me to fork over this amount of money.
