Quick Tip: Use forum thread titles for blog posts

Are you looking for blog posts that are engaging and really addresses your readers' needs? Try getting ideas from forum thread titles

However, there's a trick to it. Don't just copy and paste. That's plagiarism and might get you SUED but it also runs afoul of duplicate content issues.

Here's how to do it RIGHT

#1 Join forums that are in the same niche as your blog

#2 Get a feel for the forums by visiting them a lot and participating. Get an idea of how each forum works and the particular personality of that community.

#3 Casually read the thread titles. Notice a pattern? What types of topics crop up again and again? What kind of position do people normally take?

#4 Do a quick Social media scan on the "heat" generated by the top 10 repeated topics you've detected. Is there enough Twitter chatter to support the popularity of these topics?

#5 After you have filtered your topics using the Method in #4, take a controversial but FACT-based position on the hot topics. The key is NOT to make your blog like the other blogs covering the topic. You want to STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD and assuming the same position would make you a "me too" blogger. Stand out with your own PROVOCATIVE take.

Quick way to ride DRAMA and BUZZ to some quick traffic. You have to write it out a certain way like Trolling Your Way to the Top of Google - Internet - Blogging Tips and Guides You probably will have to tweak your style to fit your users' tastes. The free traffic makes it worth it.
