Need Youtube Vid Help

i just started using youtube and my question is the video link i'll optimize for SEO.

am i promoting the watch the link which looks like

http://www.youtube.com/ watch? v.....

or the video link which looks like **http://youtu.be/UQQeHySN6***

    I always give out the one they put in the share box that is the most natural way your video would be shared by other people.

    I would side with Mark on this one. In my opinion it is also better to go with something people are more familiar with, that is the regular YouTube - Broadcast Yourself. link in this case.

    The whichever version of URL you are using, make sure you are using that version everywhere. That's it. And you should not think about it too much!

    As long as the link points back to your video, it does not really matter. Be sure to add a proper description of your video and of course a link to your site. It is also important that you have included your keyword in the title and in tags.

    There are several ways, i normally use Keywords as my anchor text although the other more obvious ways are just as valid, i would show examples but you cant on this forum so i will write them out.

    Anchor text method - ANCHOR TEXT - this links to your site/video

    To optimize search engine, I suggest you promote with your keywords.
    Put the youtube.com normal share link (http://www.youtube.com/ watch? v.....) in your anchor text.

    they are just options
    you have to share a
    link for your video.

    implemented around
    09 due to twitter
    and popularity of
    social media
