How to Unsub from Facebook Page (I Think...)
OK, I'm a facebook retard - let's get that out of the way to start out with. I have 2 accounts I seldom use, and can barely send messages to friends.
I got an email from someone I wanted to unsubscribe from, and the only unsub link in the email is a link that said "This email was sent by XXX XXXXX. You can disable emails here." (company name excluded). The link is to the Notifications page on FB.
What I gather from this is that in order to stop emails from this guy, I have to turn off all of my FB notifications, or at least all of a certain type of notifications. I can't find any mention of this company in my FB account, I have a handfull of friends, and they're not one of them.
#1 - Does anyone know if this might be a FB page that I visited (without friending anybody)?
#2 - More importantly, how do I sever my connection to this person?
Maybe I'm just being too anal about this, but I don't think I should have to change my global notification settings in FB just to keep this guy out of my inbox!
Has anyone had experience with this? Is it just part of the landscape at FB?
