Does Anyone Still Use MySpace ?

Was wondering if anyone still logs into their MySpace occasionally for a minute just for old times sake, or, did you totally abandon it since you walked out the door and never looked back, or do you actually still browse around, talk to people, add new friends, work on your profile, and do all the other social stuff actively?

Personally, I don't use MySpace at all anymore... Facebook and Twitter are the only social networks I really use these days.

Um...no. The owners of MySpace did not stay current and were quickly overshadowed by Facebook and Twitter. Survival of the fittest...plain and simple.

Somebody I met online, went to Russia and married a mail order bride. His wife still has a MySpace page full of their wedding photos.

Four years later...they moved to LasVegas, and divorced two months after arriving. The wedding pictures are still up on MySpace.

I wonder what would happen if everyone on Facebook took a walk down memory lane on MySpace all at the same time. That would start a media buzz wouldn't it.

I didn't even think Myspace was a social network anymore. I thought it was just for musician profiles. Haven't stpped foot on that site in years.

Its funny because when Facebook first hit the scene, I thought it was lame... Now looking at MySpace, I can't even understand the layout!

    Fb rocks!

One to ponder... I wonder if anything will ever come along that will out-do facebook? If you go back several years, did anyone think ever that myspace would be bested as the social network of choice?

Yes it's been an interesting few years just sitting back watching social sites come and go. In the end, "we" are the ones that make them grow or fail, as we get bored with one, and find another site that offers something new and unique. We then take our friends and family with us, and before you know it, the other site is forgotten.

I'm surprised they're still even in the business. I wouldn't have even thought about it if you hadn't asked the question. MySpace used to be awesome.

Did any of the facebook investors think that half the value would be wiped months after it floated on the stock exchange?

Yes that's the interesting thing about big business. Earn a few billion one day, and you're laughing. Lose a few billion the next, and you're back to "0"
