Best Way To invest $15K?

I have a good product to reduce stress and anxiety, and increase focus and performance:

Its marketed as Gabatrol (Anxiety Relief | Anxiety Treatment | Natural Anxiety Relief | Gabatrol) and under another name for the wholesale market. It has had great reviews, and (for example) I just spoke with John Gray, author of NY Times Bestselling "Men are From Mars, Women are From Venus" who really likes the product for himself and his patients, and ordered over 6 cases of the product.

I have done little marketing, but would like to step up and invest in this endeavor. Many companies go with print ads in magazines. This is expensive and hard to track returns. My intuition is that internet marketing would give better returns. But what specifically?

My guess:
Clean up landing page, create squeeze page to capture leads
Split test to hone page conversion rate
Buy leads and traffic - Ad words, list rentals
As volume goes up, so will my sales (Hopefully)

Since the above is not my forte, is it possible to hire someone who could help? Will $15K kick start this program?

Hehe, but seriously your plan sounds like a really smart move. I'd leverage AdWords as much as possible. You could hire someone or learn yourself, depending on how much you value your time... you'd probably have more to play with though if you learnt and grew confident yourself.

I'd also hunt down related websites and setup JVs with them to grow your list...

When you say leverage - in a nutshell where do you start? I asssume you mean get the most bang for my buck$, and perhaps that means Long Tail Keywords - is there a good report around somewhere that i could read up on?

Or should I dig it up on my Traffic Secrets 2.0 DVD? (Yes, I didnt look at them yet! lol)

By leverage, I mean to "take advantage of" (in a good way of course) of your potential JV partners... and the best way of doing this is through their lists.

Have them send out an email to their subscriber base promoting your product. There's no such thing as a free lunch so you will have to give them a fairly lucrative commission per sale for doing so... But it will be worth it as you'll gain higher brand awareness, word-of-mouth referrals and the opportunity to boost your backend (if you have a backend sales system in place).

You would want to hook up with JV partners in your niche, so in this case the "anxiety relief" and you want to give them a reason to promote your product...

So far you already have credibility covered (John Gray endorses your product), I would try and get a testimonial from him too. Secondly you'll need to entice potential JVs with a lucrative commission - anywhere between 50% - 75% per sale is not uncommon. You should get an affiliate program setup to handle the commission side of things.

And lastly, I would have your website redesigned... OK I'm being a bit biased here because I'm a web designer, but in my opinion it looks cramped and dated, which would not lend well to your credibility which in turn lessens your chances of landing JV partners.

that site is not bad at all.

But you could even more focus on the fact that it is a "natural" alternative to conventional treatments...maybe really simple things like adding more "green" to your page and not have those "walgreens" colors.

In addition to your physical product(s) you could also let someone make a course, ebook & videos.....and MAYBE sell the gabatrol product "on the side" and make the "stress relief system" videos and book your actual main product.

I am saying this since i can see affiliates more interested in such a complete program which could yield higher profits as opposed to a couple of bottles.

And once you have such a program made you can promote it on clickbank or whatever. And/Or you can also use your actual physical product (gabatrol) as bonus gifts for everyone who purchases the whole "system".
