Are you Motivated? Do you have what it takes to succeed?

We believe that people need motivation to succeed, and believe that alot of people lack that key when it comes to internet marketing or business in general.

Below is an article that we recently posted on our blog, please take the time to read it, and let us know....Are you motivated and do you have what it takes to succeed?

The difference between success and failure is motivation. We at SIS Media Group believe that simple motivation turns the world. It is the key to success in everything we do, from web development to social media networking to boosting our clients' web presence through smart online marketing. We are motivated to help our clients succeed, or we consider the job only half done.
It is not enough to build a great web site. You must want it to succeed. You can build the prettiest site, with the most awesome and cutting edge technology, the most interactive and fun interface ever--and still see it sink into the vast Internet sea if you make no effort to make people aware that it even exists. It is our burning mission to make sure that doesn't happen.

What is motivation? It is whatever gets you out of bed in the morning, whatever gets you to make that extra effort, whatever keeps you from quitting when things get difficult. For SIS Media Group, it's pride--pride in our work, pride in our clients' success, pride in making our work stand out from our competitors. For others, it may be the thrill of landing new clients, simple survival and the need to keep the doors open, or a desire to provide jobs and prove to yourself that you can build a successful business. Motivation is a deeply personal thing, a matter of principle that every business needs.

It can be hard sometimes to stay motivated, when times are tough and the temptation to be "good enough" sneaks in, to cheapen the product or fudge on delivery. That's when the winners dig deep and the losers go home, because in cyberspace, "good enough" only gets you a web site. Turning it into a great web site takes a desire to do more, to do it right, to see how far you can take it. As Dyer says, "Motivate yourself" if you want to succeed, on the internet, in business, or in life.

So think about it: what motivates you? Find it, hold onto it, and use it, because you really do have a choice between being miserable and being successful.

What a very nice advert and what a singular view of motivation.

It does make me wonder where all this airy fairy theorising originates because 'motivation' has absolutely nothing to do with why we do things.

I repeat - motivation has absolutely nothing to do with why we do things.

The one thing that drives all animals, man included, is the desire to survive. It is the desire to satisfy life threatening hunger at any level.

If a man desperately needs to laugh (yes, it does happen) he will find something to laugh at - not because of any theoretical motivation but because of the threat to himself that continuing not to laugh represents. Afterwards he might realise that laughing was not the most appropriate reaction (ever been there?) and then his drive will be to make himself less visible. He won't be 'motivated' to be less visible - he will simply know that to survive in the current situation, he needs to be less visible.

Motivation, as taught, is an ephemeral ideal that comes nowhere near achieving the sheer power of survival. Motivation is in the same realm as being positive and manifestation - it is an avenue down which to sell unproven theories in vaccuous and fairly worthless ebooks, the equivalent of a brain dump by someoine clever enough to spot a market and pander to that market's desire to believe anything it has been told.

I shudder when I think of the damage that is done on a regular basis by 'one size fits all' theoretical processes that are eagerly devoured by people who actually believe that someone who decided to write a generic book on a half developed theory knows them better than they know themselves. People are being taught to be dependent. They are having their inborn self awareness fogged by their own willingness to be exploited and manipulated by others.

Man comes supplied with a basic operating system, just like a computer, but prat around with it and, just like a computer, the chances are that it will fail, slow down or both.

Man is driven by instincts and they can not be modified - asylums are full of the results of vainglorious psychiatrists who have tried. Motivation is not an instinct - survival is.

You might not like what I say - but I believe it.
Build it, make money, then build some more
Some old school smarts would help - and here's to Rob Toth for his help. Bloody good stuff, even the freebies!

You all have the points. Everyone is entitled to his or her own opinion. Anyone will survive or succeed once you are highly motivated.

Thanks for the thread, indeed it is very motivational. I am motivated to attain success because I believe there's always a sweet reward after all the hard work.
