i was just wondering, how many Internet Marketers here outsource the graphics for their websites. It does work out cheaper to do them yourself but then again you can always make money during the time it takes to create those graphics. So.. my question is; do most of you ask someone else to make your graphic designs for you? I want to know if it is a feasable business idea for me. |

I get professionals to develope my header image, my logo, my namecard, my sales page, ebook covers and so on...for one simple reason, they do it 100X better than me (and only if budget allows.) If you are good in creating graphic, why not do it yourself? Cheers, John |

The reason I asked is because I would like to provide such a service. I am quite good with graphic design and will probably use the skills to set up my very first business online. I just need to know if people actually need me for such things. I suppose I'll have to get a portfolio ready first but it is the direction I am heading for. |

Hi Mun, there's a huge need for such a service, loads of work to go round if you're good, and plenty of room for people to enter the marketplace. As the competition gets fiercer, us designers continually improve our skills - which ultimately means the client benefits even more from the competition. Kindest regards, Karl. Quote:

The time for me will depend on the need of the individual customer. I expect to return a finished product within 3 or 4 days (if I ge jobs everyday), I am not too sure if that is an average time or if people expect them sooner. Of course if things are going a litle slow then I can probably get back with a product the next day. Well by the amount of questions popping up in my head I believe more research is in order. |

hey Mun, I say if you have the skills and want to move forward in graphic design, why not do so? Karl has some good advise there. He's in that field, and a darn good graphics person. The truth is, there is plenty of room in this market for you to set up shop. Anyway, whatever you decide, we wish you the very best in it. Mary |

You can spend months in learning Photoshop, or you can pay a few bucks to a professional designer who will probably be able to do it better than you (no offense meant). If you value your time like me, I am sure you will see how profitable it is to outsource stuff you don't want to do or cannot do. That said, there are also stuff that you shouldn’t outsource. But that is off-topic. ![]() Arindam | |

I've used both professionals as well as photoshop action scripts for my graphics. Both are good ways of generating graphics. You can do some seriously amazing things with action scripts. They work because you add in the text you want in the ebook/software/dvd (etc) cover and the script spits out the cover for you. You need to spend a few hours playing with them, but worth the effort. __________________ Free Premium Resell Rights, Private Label Rights, Source Code, IM Videos & More - Click Here Get My Graphics Templates For Free - Graphics Blast - Free |
