If you truly believe selling this information would hurt your reputation if you sold it, then WHY would you give it away? I say this because (chances are) even more people will see it when you give it away (vs selling it) -- so that means you'll hurt your reputation MORE than if you'd sell it. Simple math. The more people who see it, the more people who'll possibly form a negative view of you.

Again, I haven't read your report to know whether it could damage your rep. I'm just going by what you say.

Edited to Add: Let me give you an example...

Let's suppose I just figured out how to hack into anyone's Paypal account. I could sell this information and make a bundle. But obviously if I sold this, the good and honest folks on this forum wouldn't do business with me any more.

So, I'll give it away instead... because giving it away won't hurt my reputation, right?

Even more people will see my report. And that's even more people who won't do business with me again.

(That's just an example -- again, I haven't read your report, so I don't know how damaging it truly is.)
