I'm not knocking you for asking the question, but I'm always amazed at why people waste time masturbating over the fantasy of what could be possible vs. the realization of understanding that anything is possible.

It's possible to make $50 a month using email marketing.

It's possible to make $1,000.

It's possible to make a billion dollars a month using email marketing.

More doing and less asking.

1 million a month?... does not seem possible.

Most people seem to forget that it's not how big your list is, it's your RELATIONSHIP with the list that counts. If you sell to them all the time and suggest crap then they will leave you. If you treat them like a friend then they will buy whatever you recommend.

Anything is possible. There are people making $1,000,000+ per month with their list. There are people making $0 per month with their list. It's all about how hard you're willing to work, setting goals, and the action you take to achieve them.

I'm currently sending out to over 260k subscribers like 5 times per week. I don't make a million a month just from email marketing though. I do make enough to work as much or as little as I want. Some days I just hit the send button and go play outside. Other days I feel obligated to spend some time at the computer and end up fooling around on FB, the WF, and surfing blogs.

This type of lifestyle is not far fetched, but it takes time to build. If all you focused on was list building and providing content that people look forward to receiving, you could do it too. However, most people don't have the focus to stick with it and build it up if it doesn't pay right away.

Maybe I should start coaching to pass the time and give back. It would be cool to help some people.

It is possible - it happens all of the time, but your focus should be on recruiting affiliates, and they will build your list. Then you need a sweet high end product for your affiliates to promote - If a million is your goal I would aim for at least a $2,000 product.

I definitely plan to give good content and have that relationship with the list. I hope I can get a 10% conversion rate. I've heard of people getting 25-30% so i'm going to shoot for something lower and if I get higher then that will be a bonus. But I don't just want to connect with them through the email list, so i'm setting up a blog, Facebook page, twitter. Hopefully I don't overwhelm them lol.
Now if only I had a list of 40K! That will be my next step after my blog is finished, start getting members!

It's a tough gig but anything's possible. It's gonna cost you though to learn how to get all those emails inboxed..

YES. You can make a million a month. But...

It takes a number of things to achieve this kind of success which most people have NONE of these things.

First you need a very good understanding of marketing. Anyone can build a list but can you KEEP it?

Second you will need to be really good at outsourcing. You are only one person and there is only so much time in the day. If you want to get RICH you need to outsource as much as you can and this requires...

Third...

You need to be a damn good manager of...3 things

people, time, and money.

So thats actually bring us to 5 skills.

6. Be patient, be committed and work your butt off.

If you can accomplish all of the above things you can EASILY become a millionaire online list or no list.

Its not that its hard (its really not)... its just that not everyone has what it takes.

Some of us have a few of these things but very few have all of them.

Some of us can make a mill but cant manage it. And a lot of other hangups.

If you've ever seen a Jeff Paul informercial, you'll see that $1,000,000 is apparently possible. There's one guy on the informercial saying he makes $400,000 a week. So yeah, with a big list and big advertising budget... it's possible.
