Help/Suggestions For Getting Clients on Craiglist!?

Hi everyone,

I'll try and keep this short and to the point.

So I'm starting a brokering service and one of the first ways I wanted to promote the service is by finding clients through CL.

I got everything in place, found the workers, created a portfolio, etc., all that was left is to begin getting clients. And that's where I'm having the problem.

I've been sending out emails/replying to ads (and trying to make sure I'm hopefully one of the first people to email them) and so far not one single bite. I do know that it's going to take time but I'm a bit worried that perhaps my emails are sounding like everyone else.

Any advice or suggestions on how to improve my chances?

Thanks in advance!

I suggest studying copy writing. Making ads that stand out from all the others will help.

The copy writing board here at WF is a good place to start.

Is their kinds of copy or products that work better then others? Reason I am asking is I created a script that audits / checks websites for problems but I am just struggling with the approach to sell it...

I think this question was directed towards Cesar, but I'll give my 2 cents...
Yes, I think that there's certain kinds of copy that will work better than others. As far as products go, if you market it right you can virtually sell anything.

I know my answer wasn't probably very helpful, so I would suggest making a post asking for advice and see what kind of suggestions you get that will help you market/sell your product better .
