The 4 Main Reasons (I think) Most People Fail Online -

Like it's stated in the title, these are the 4 main reasons I think people fail online.

Reason 1: You keep buying and using bad information.

Now, there is nothing wrong with buying information products. Because you can learn a lot, and there are some really good ones out there. BUT you don't need to buy 70 of them.

Also, most of that software people buy is garbage. Seriously, if anyone ever found a loophole and created a software that exploited it, there is no chance in the world they would sell it to you...

And no software "alone" WILL MAKE YOU MONEY! They are to be used as tools to HELP you make money and automate tasks.

For some reason there are people that think you can buy it, turn it on and in comes the cash. I'm sorry to tell you this, but that just isn't how it works.

Reason 2: You don't take any action.

As sad as it is there are SO many people that know tons and tons of information but never do anything with it!

They sit around and tell people about all of the things they know, but never put it into actions. As we all know, if you never take action nothing can happen.

Reason 3: You are in a dead niche

Most people are told over and over that the best niche to get in to is one you are knowledgeable in and you are passionate about.

Well, what if there is no money in that niche?

Now, that's fine if you want to be in a niche you LOVE and know lots about, but if there is no money to made in that niche because of lack of interest or a tremendous amount of free info you'll just be wasting you time and effort.

Reason 4: You are doing everything yourself

Yes, I know... there is no better feeling than completing a big project by yourself. But here is the problem, it takes time, and usually lots of it.

This means you are spending less time making money, and that's what we want to be doing.

Now I'm not telling you to go out there and hire a bunch of people. But when you need five things done at one time it makes more sense to outsource and have other people do it for you.

That way you can get back to the most important thing of all, making money. Also, most people never really end up finishing everything they start so they usually get overwhelmed and give up

I'm sure there are many more reasons why people fail and I encourage people to add to this list. These are what I find to be the most common though, what do you think?

Are you guilty of any of these?

    I think reasons 1 & 2 were my
biggest stumbling blocks for a long time..

What got me going was to get a coach
and be held accountable for my online time..

I guess discipline plays a big part too..

Nothing wrong with failure. You can get up and fight back from a fail.

I'd change 1 to people not being creative. Sure, learn about marketing and conversions, but after that they should be able to tackle their problems from a different angle.

      Agree with 2.

Don't agree with 3. It's not a dead niche if there's people already making money in it. They just aren't good enough.

      Don't agree with 4.

I think the biggest problem is that people lack the intelligence to succeed online. I'm not talking about IQ. Just not having what it takes to make money online and they'd rather chase dreams than learn those skills they don't have.

Most people just plan and never start doing it. As my good ol friend says, "little action with no plan is much better that big planning with no action".

I would venture to guess that overwhelmingly #1 and #2 are what mostly keep peple from having success.

People from #1 are still seeking someone to tell them what to do. They need to pick one thing and run with it but they just can't decide on what that one thing should be.

Peole from #2 probably have a fear of failure. They are afraid to put what they know to the test. The thought of trying something and it not working out stops them from doing anything at all.

I woul agree to an extent and disagree to an extent

Me personally I spent hours and hours on these forums (and still do) even before I took any action. There is SOOOO much to learn here and Im talking from experience. Use this forum TO LEARN. Now I have a semi decent squeeze page which is actually getting me a few subscribers. All because I was here asking the questions...so I guess my input would be...

that many people fail because they DONT ASK ENOUGH QUESTIONS. Or they are scared of looking stupid..I can say WHO CARES because any feedback is feedback and you stand to benefit either way!

Reason 5. You spend more time playing Xbox than marketing your website

The time old problem of want want want and due to all the hype out there really thinking you are going to get it as quick as the person making a quick buck out of you is telling you !!

Then you get down, some people pick themselves back up and count their cash to see if they can afford to take another shot to see if they really can make thousands in hours, the very few who have either worked their butt off or have lost a lot of cash to dream sellers, or both, eventually, with the right mindset and guidance, well they get there, a bit battered and bruised and skint but they make it.

That's how it was for me and my wife, but i can hold my hand up these days and say i know exactly how to make money online, and i also know just about every trick in the book people play, only when you have hit the bottom of potholes can you tell people how to avoid them !!

    All the very best

I think #2 is 95% of the problem with people who aren't getting results online.

    I'm definitely guilty of #2.

Although I do manage to pull myself into action, there's usually a little nagging voice in the back of my mind, a very cynical voice that keeps me from putting things into motion.

A big reason for me is every idea I have, the urge to try something, feels like I'm turning down a blind alley and I just hate the idea of wasted time and resources since I have so little of each. While I still believe you can learn the most from failures, its still an obstacle.

What ends up happening is I just say F it! And start the ball rolling by buying the domain.

I'm sure once i find something that works for me. I won't be as hesitant.
