I've been offered a huge commission if I can source a buyer for a luxury villa in a sought after, upmarket european destination.

The owners are having trouble selling it and have asked if I could help. To be honest, it's decent value and there are a lot of wealthy "ex pats" that live in the area.

Naturally, since there are a lot of great online marketers on the forum, I'm thinking about posting the details and offering 50% of the commission to anybody that can introduce a buyer (seriously, it would be more than most people's yearly income).

Finding a buyer for a property is just like any other product, the more targeted people that see it, the more chance you have of finding a buyer (would need to be quite wealthy people though, villa is around the 2 million euro mark).

Would this be a stupid move, in terms of the amount of scammers, PMs, junk mail etc I would recieve as well as the website of the property. Or do you think it would be a good idea and could actually work?

Interested to know your thoughts as to whether the good would outweigh the bad...

P.S. The villa is not mine (maybe one day!) before you ask.

Also, I am not BS'ing. Feel free to look at my post history, I've never made false income claims or anything like that, never launched a WSO, never plan to.

I'm not an expert by any means, but my opinion would be to first try to market it yourself, on property sites like FindaProperty, Zoopla or property sites for that area. If you are unsuccessful, consider collaborating with another marketer.

Also, don't do anything without consulting with a solicitor and signing a contract with the owners.
