Best way to do URL forwarding with masking - via Domain Registrar or Hosting??

Hello,

Is it better to do URL forwarding with masking via Domain Registrar or Hosting provider?

Do most hosting providers (like hostgator, blue host etc.) has this functionality?
#domain #forwarding #hosting #masking #registrar #url #w or masking

Not sure that one is actually better than the other. I think either work just as well. Yes, most hosting providers have this with redirects. You should see this option in your cpanel.

Some registrars allow you to add title and more with your framed url forwarding while some hosting providers only have simple redirects. Could be useful if your registrar has that free feature.

I checked my host, the riderect feature is as follows:
    Redirection of - Empty Field.mydomain.com
    to http:// [your website here]
    Type: visible/invisible
So there is no way to enter title.

If you want to use the domain to forward people to more than one product or service install Word Press and then Pretty Link.

I know about masking URL links with Pretty link, but this is just redirect.

However, what I need is my Display URL to be the same as my destination URL and adcenter requires using URL masking instead of URL redirect, See Newbie guide to Microsoft Adcenter PPC network
so pretty link won't do here.

    Hi,
    I am new here..
I need a very short reply from a person who has idea about that stuff and I know that many knowledgeable guys here.
I want to point some domains to my website and I am interested if someone can check which domains point to that website.
If yes, how s/he can do it? For some reason I would prefer people will will not know which domains point to my website (I do not want them to copy my strategy).

I would be very happy if you reply to that question
