How would you market this service? (SaaS)
Hey Warriors,
I'm a programmer and have been looking at different ideas for software I could create and launch, as I find them interesting & fulfilling personally, and they appeal to me more than selling products like ebooks etc does.
I've chosen to build a software on the lines of http://wibiya.com (non-aff link), albeit with some additional features.
It's basically an easy to use toolbar that you can add to your website or blog to make it easier for your visitors to share content via Digg, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and tons of other 'apps' that can be displayed on the bar.
I think it's a very useful service for bloggers, because there would be no coding involved on their end, and it lets visitors interact with the site.
Right now I am a bit stuck with how to market the site. I currently planned to maybe do a free beta on here on the Forum, and also approach other bloggers (especially, those in the social media niche) to use the bar for free and recommend it to their own readers.
Would love some ideas on how I could market it : )
