Hey Warriors,

On a typical work day for you during the week, how much do you get done and what tasks do you accomplish to improve your IM business and sales/traffic?

I think this will be an interesting topic to see how much many of you get done on a typical day or week.

Let's here it...GO!

On a typical day I add about 30,000 new keywords to my database. I select the gems and create a few pages around those keywords myself or outsource the articles. Once I finish the keyword database I expect to start outsourcing at least 100 articles a day.

Yes why not? Maybe a lot more. I intend to create a website well beyond 100,000 pages. There are so many easy keywords that can land you on page 1 with no backlinks at all. Eg. How to Make Oobleck Without Cornstarch - Keyword

I intend to start with small keywords upto 500 global searches and target bigger ones as the site starts gaining authority probably after reaching a few thousand pages.

I can only afford to outsource $250 worth of articles a day right now, if I work all day on my offline business and invest 90% of income, so I have to either quadruple my biz or start selling memberships to my custom keyword research tool (34 million keywords)

Looking at your list of 9,000 KW's, they all include the word free. What do you intend to do? You are going to be attracting an overwhelming amount of freebie seekers IMO.

Serps traffic already tends to convert less than other forms of traffic, and if they are actually typing "free" in their string, it seems there will be very little room for conversions?

You may have heard it already, but networking is a big part of fellow IMers success. They partner with well know names that built trust and a following already, and leverage that. It does take time to develop the relationship but once it's done, you progress to their level instantly. This is what I'm starting to do now.

        Hey there Fellow warriors,

Man I saw this question and the thought "how long is a piece of string" popped to mind!

I guess it depends what you do, and what stage you are at with your business.

Currently I am looking for future JV partners onwards to the future, I love building relationships online as it gets lonely ya know!

Also driving traffic to my sites, I try to not work too hard of course!

          1. Research new information
          2. write 10 to 12 articles
          3. Post on social networking sites, forums, twitter, instagram, tumblr,
          4. research ways to increase growth.

          Spend <8 hours a day.

But, I have only been doing this consistently for less than 3 months. But, 2,000 page views on average, 540 email subscribers, 120 text message subscribers, and approximately $8 dollars a day off of google adsense. approximately 300 search engine referrals per day.

As much work as I put in I expect larger results. But, I guess good things come to those who wait.

Are you capturing emails of the visitors? 300 visitors a day, you should be building up a sizable list, and selling to them. I think you'll make more than adsense that way...

Well I have a lot on my plate these days, but little time. I was laid up for 5 months learning to walk again, but during that time I started on a couple of ebooks. However since I was out of work, my small IM empire fell and my host deleted all my sites, save one which is with another hosting co.

So little , by little I am rebuilding my sites. Focusing on one at the moment as well as finishing off 1 of 2 ebooks.

Now that I am back at work, I come home pretty worn out, so I put a little into it every night. The weekends is where I get most of my work done.

    Researching KeyWords
    Writing Articles
Split testing Ads on FB, Google and Microsoft E

Then I enjoy life, amazing how targeted ads can basically make you money while you sleep or do your thing during the day XD

On a typical day, i sleep in hehe due to the global reach of my offline biz, I work during the night.. due to timezone differences.

Nevertheless in the afternoon, I always check emails, send things to be done to my outsourcers, checkup on some works that they have done to give the green light etc..

The aim of marketing is to make selling superfluous. The aim of marketing is to know and understand the customer so well that the product or service fits him and sells itself.....
