New Business owner looking for the best affordable SEO package

I get HUNDREDS of calls a day from companies that promise the world and then fall short on their promises. I have spent over 100k on PPC in the past 5 months and I feel I am not getting my money's worth.

Money is wearing thin and my reputation and future are on the line. I see a lot of deals on this forum and, being a novice in Internet marketing & Advertising, I'd love some direction for the best bang for my buck, as far as getting my name out there and generating more leads (which I have been successful in, just not as successful as I need to be) for a fraction of what I've been spending.

Any help, insight, advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

There is no one size fits all...When looking for a good SEOer, you need to make sure you find one that's a good match for you.

    This means:

    Risks/Aggressiveness

    Risk management

    Ethics

You need to make sure you are on the same page with your SEOer concerning these before you worry about anything else.

I'd like to add that I have successfully brought in over 100k in revenue from my venture in the same amount of time, but in a competitive market like mine, I need to find new ways and avenues to travel in order to generate the traffic needed to thrive in this industry.

First of all: you're getting "hundreds" of phones calls per day from "companies that promise the world...".

Stop answering the phone if it's indeed ringing.

Second: You're a self-admitted "novice". So...STOP SPENDING MONEY WHEN YOU DON'T REALLY KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING. That includes perhaps really understanding the concepts that these companies -- that you've spent a mind boggling $100,000 -- are pitching to you.

Third: After you've stopped answering the phone and stopped spending money, get an "IM" education. Read. Study. Read some more.

If you're really a novice and you've really spent all this money and you believe that you've still haven't gotten any where yet, the last thing you need to do is now come onto this forum advertising how much money you've spent.

    The vultures are already circling.

Maybe giving some more details about what you're actually trying to accomplish? The might open the flood gates of knowledge --free knowledge -- from others who understand your current position and goals and could help.

I've worked in my industry for years. I've always worked for someone else in the industry, and now that I've ventured out on my own I needed to take risks. They seem to be working out well. But there is always room for progress, correct? spend 100k, make 200k is not a bad turnover. I'm simply looking for more ways to generate traffic other than PPC, which seems like a never ending money pit.

You seem very aggressive. More aggressive than my spending habits. It's Friday. Relax and enjoy it.

Again, thanks for the insight. I'll take your advice into consideration.

I'm looking for advice on back linking, how to improve SEO, the true worth of social media and what to not waste my time on. It gets mind boggling after a while to constantly do the same thing over and over again and not see the results expected of oneself.
