If you wanted to go from 0 to 250 or more a week working up to 8 hours a day what would you do?

So just out of curiosity, what would you do if you wanted to make at least 250 a week but currently was making nothing?

Would you invest time in writing articles?

Would you promote Amazon products online?

Would you promote clickbank products?

What would you do? I simply mentioned 250 a week as that is full time for someone making $7.50 an hour.

I will say I know writing articles at 1 cent a word means working all day for next to no money with little room for growth. I would rather work towards something than work all day writing and see no future profits off that work. Been there done that and am still doing it(at least partly) haha

I heard it said on here before that if someone devoted themselves to one thing, treated it like a real full time job, that they could make more than a full time job quite quickly.

Why couldn't you write the articles for yourself instead? If you're gonna pump out articles 8h/day then get into semi competitive but profitabel niche and get on the first page of Google, once you're there, you'll be making some money. Get another site, invest the money you earned and again 8h/day and now you have 2 sites in a semi competitive niche in the front page of google.

If you want a sure route to $250/week then I would recommend offering your services as a content creator.

Try signing up to Elance, oDesk, Warrior 4 Hire, Digital Point, Textbroker and iWriter and you should be able to get to $250/week in a relatively short period of time.

The only problem with writing(been in it for over 3 years) is that it does not keep making you money. Plus on forums like this one, and especially digital point, few want to pay above 1 cent a word.

Seeing how 250 a week isnt "livable" cash but is the equivalent to a low end job, writing could never get above that. If your goal was to work 5 days a week writing and make "just" 250 a week then you would need to write 5000 words a day at 1 cent a word.

It can be hard to find 5000 words a day steady plus it can be mighty tough to not get "wore out" with writing if you do 5000 words a day every day.

Plus another fault with writing for others is as soon as you stop so does the money. You are building someone elses empire and you get sick or quit and so does your "small" amount of money.

Build a brand, build a list, build a community then sell your products.

How hard is it to build a list? I always thought most people clicked off those pop ups asking for their emails? I guess you would have to provide a website or blog with valuable content with the promise of more good content if you subscribe to weekly emails.

$250/week? I'd get a part time job at Jiffy Lube.

$250 a week ONLINE. This would only be a "starting" goal for most. Take this thread as a "if I work hard can I avoid jiffy lube?" kinda deal. I think many would rather work 8 hours a day online for 250 or MORE dollars and grow it than work 8 hours a day at jiffy lube with no chance to grow their income.

I have traveled to many rural and small towns in neighboring states. I have saw that in many small towns about the most you can hope for is a job at dollar general or the like. These people wouldn't mind being able to work from home to just get work period. Not everyone can go get a job at jiffy lube and that won't pay many bills anyways.
