ClickBank Affiliates: What Do You Want In An Affiliate Website?

As a ClickBank e-book vendor, I've often struggled to determine what sort of information / resources my affiliates are looking for in the "affiliate zone" or "affiliate section" of my website.

A few things I've identified as important elements of an 'affiliate section':

- no forced email opt-in... why should affiliates have to sign up for my newsletter if they want to promote my product?
- quality content (articles & email swipes) that has been tested & proven to convert
- a way to send traffic to different landing pages (if available)
- contact information so I can get in touch with the vendor

But, I'm sure there are many different opinions out there... so, as an affiliate, what would you like to see in a vendor's "affiliate center"? (Email swipes, free websites, banner ads, how-to advice....??)

Thanks in advance!

We need conversion proof, like campaign from Adwords, Fb ads, etc.

To be honest, it doesn't even matter very much to me whether you have an affiliate page or not. What matters to me is your sales page, product quality and vendor reputation.

In my opinion, affiliates to whom "banners"/"graphics"/"stuff" provided by the vendor are very important are, in the long run, going to be among the 95% of affiliates who are collectively responsible for only 5% of the affiliate-referred sales. The ones about whom you might want to be concerned as a vendor are the other 5%, the pro-affiliates, who can between them bring in 95% of your affiliate-referred sales. Their concerns aren't mostly about what's in the affiliate area. They're mostly about your sales page, product quality and vendor reputation.

If the affiliates' perspective is what you want to learn about, be careful which group you ask - the one with the large numbers of affiliates or the one with large numbers of sales.

This post - from the affiliate perspective - seems to have been helpful to people here: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post2161932

A free book which presells the product.

The book should be rebrandable on the fly with the affiliate id so that all the affiliate needs
to do is give out a link (and not need to host a copy of the book)

Product quality is paramount in my opinion.

A good affiliate will be able to present it properly. The combination between high quality and good presentation can create a winner.
