Blasting affiliate link to 50,000 USA Twitter followers

I will be blasting an Affiliate link on 50,000 real followers that are on a friends account, I dont care if its spammy I just need to make a quick buck, and I dont even have a website so I can't even capture their emails.

Firstly what kind of message should I tweet to get the highest conversions?

This will lead to an email submit. I need to know if anyone else has done this, the message they used and their conversion rates.

I especially need to know the conversion rate because if I am getting less than 0.5% conversion I am not gonna bother and wait till I get a website and try and build my list with them.

I need some solid on advice on how to use this chance well.

PS. Would this work better with a FB Fan Page than a tweet.

Well you dont care to spam because you need a buck BUT will not be happy with a .5% response rate(250 conversions), which would be a miracle to get, which you wont know till you test anyway.

So just do it and find out.

Very true, I was hoping to hear from people who have experienced this.

      Thank you though.

Firstly - "I got an iPhone the other day @ LINKHERE" is a classic hacker's/spammer's line. The vast majority of people will assume your friend's Twitter account has been hacked. Some will unfollow immediately. Some will give your friend the benefit of the doubt unless/until it happens again.

If you can't think of anything more convincing to Tweet you deserve to fail! Your friend needs his/her head read if they allow their account to be used in this way.

Thanks for opening my eyes, this was all i could think of as i was posting this thread. I am just eager to get some advice on how much twitter followers could possibly convert.

      I will definitely change it.

      Thank you.

It has really no call to action or interest why would I click on it, thats great you got an ipod should I care?

It should be more like. "Hey, I found really cheap Iphones @ link here" maybe not that but something that will interest some one and then try to add a call to action.
"Found really cheap iphones here "link" Get in quick prices aren't going to last long"

Know on to the conversion rate. It really matters about the audience. Just saying most people that use twitter already have an iPhone or something just as good.

So I believe its going to be 0% convertion. Lucky if 0.001.

You have to think what a general twitterer would want.
Here are some common things they have in common
    - They all need Internet
    - They all want more followers and folowing less people
    - Nearly all of them use a phone app to post tweets
These are the top off my head
So maybe look at selling an app that does one/all of these: automates posts, gains followers, un-follows when followed, sees who unfollows you

So conversion rate is more about how well you do market research and choose what product.

    Facebook Question
If your trying to sell iphones it well be better but still low.

What I think you should do.

You should prepare for the Iphone 5 Launch and try to affiliate then. Everyone has an iphone now and why would you want to buy a new iphone now, when the new one is just around the corner.

    Hope this helped

Hmm, how about "iPhone 5 is going to be released soon.. right now is the best time to get a 4S especially X"?

I don't really think the submit to win iPhone is really going to work - there's so much ads of "YOU ARE THE 1 MILLIONTH VISITOR" that most people won't believe them..

Don't make your tweet like an ad of a product.Make it more personal. For example If you're promoting a weight loss product make a tweet like this ;- "Hi,I lost 10 pounds in 2 weeks,Thanks to<here name of your product><here your affiliate link>".

    Good Luck.

Its very hard and tough to sell to twitter followers directly its ideal to squeeze them and promote to that list.

Did you try sending them to your optin page instead?

It depends on the type of followers your friend has. Are they targeted? Is there some sort of rhyme/reason to his twitter account? If it's just a collection of typical sharky twitter folks don't expect much other than a lot of spam complaints and the real possibility of getting a vacation for a while or banned outright. Though with some creative brainstorming you might find some type of cynical offer they'd bite on.

If his followers are all interested in something similar they the right offer and the right tweet could do very well.

I used to think the same thing but Twitter is a great platform to build business relationships. First you seek followers who are interested in what you're doing. Then you have a blog or site with tons of valuable content. Your tweets also have to be worthwhile. After you have established rapport with your followers you start sending them to your excellent blog posts and articles. Of course, you've got products and services available there too.

It's the same business model lots of IMers use. The bottom line is you build relationships and provide value. Those two things are at the heart of all successful businesses.

      How about this:

"I'm a spammer who just needs to make a quick buck. Don't blame @friend, I'm just a shitty friend who doesn't care. [link]"

      Or more directly:

"This link might kill my friend's account, but I don't care. I just want to make a quick buck so click my spam."

50k followers id say that mean about 1000 real people the rest are bots lol

You say "50,000 real followers", I believe these 50 K followers is a real follower. But the question is whether all these followers are real people, or mostly just some twitter accounts which created by the software, and not owned by anyone. In other words they are the fake followers.

Give me your twitter account ID, I'll check how fake your twitter followers.

Thousands of people spam Twitter to little or no avail. Do you really think that yet another spam message sent out to mostly bots is going to make a quick buck?

Can I interest you in some swamp land in Florida?

How old is this twitter account?

50,000 real followers gained by follow/unfollow method would usually take at least 3 years to build up.

If tweeting a CPA offer, I recommend you stay away from anything apple related. As far as tweeple are concerned apple = SPAM.

Try something like a Dell laptop or Samsung phone.

    hello,

You need to know first of all that twitter traffic do not convert really well. And if your traffic it's not target I mean do not expect any conversion except a click. So you have to chose a least an offer who is targeted to your friends followers.

    Hope that helps

By spamming your affiliate link you will probably find that your affiliate network will end up scrubbing lots of your leads anyways - and may even ban your account. So this attempt may not yield as much as you think even if some folks do manage to sign-up. I think you need a better strategy than spamming. I understand you need money, but good IM takes times and good strategy. Heck, if you're that hard up for a few bucks then do some cheap tasks or get a day labor job or something, but spamming tends to only backfire.
