List Building in None-IM Related Niches?

With so many people talking about solo ads, list building, creating free WSO's to help leverage subscribers and buyers e.t.c I wondered why no one ever talks about list building for other niches.

It's only a matter of time before the market is saturated, and the majority of us on here have each other on our lists and therefore are marketing to each other day after day...

Why does no one discuss list building for completely different niches, and if people do and I have missed it can we discuss it again.

I would like to know what other markets people consider or have tested list building in?

Where can marketers buy solo ads for none IM related niches?

Thanks!

Plenty of us build lists in other niches, it's not like it's a very novel idea. You just hear/see/join so many IM lists because this is an IM forum. There wouldnt be much incentive for me to ask people to join my burrito of the month list here.

List building isn't just for IM.. It can be used for other niches, for example stocks, weight loss.. it's pretty useful for every niche. Having a good list is very important.

If you want to build a list in any niche than I recommend to visit Ben Settle site and sign up at the same time.

Note: he is promoting his printed newsletter about email marketing in his daily emails. Those printed ones quite pricey but you can find plenty of free stuff on his site and also several Kinldle books can be found on Amazon, which he wrote.

    It's a fair question.
(although truth be told, I bet 10 years ago someone said "It's only a matter of time until the market is saturated" ;.)

But anyway, yes.. definitely go outside the IM niche.. It's a big world out there,

If people buy physical products, magazines, digital products like clickbank stuff..the niche is fair game.

And if it's something you like or have knowledge of, you have a leg up on it so it shouldn't be so hard.

    All the Best,
    Patrick

List building is essentially required for any niches if you want to earn money. That being said, I don't think the IM niche will be saturated as long as the internet is still around.

OK sure so it is obvious now that people are list building in other niches, but how about methods of list building.

Can we still do solo advertisements for other niches?

I'd rather pay to build a list, so I am looking for ideas which involving spending cash.

I'm sure the opportunities are out there for certain niches, but probably not to the extent that it is in IM niches. There are other forms of paid traffic you can use outside of solo ads as well that will work with most niches (assuming you research/execute correctly).

You might be interested to know that some of the top niche sites outside the IM niche do not build lists at all. These sites place more emphasis on monetizing the site with 'paid advertisements' and the opt-in form is a determinant for 'paid ads.' Advertisers simply do not want to pay to advertise on a site that literally distracts visitors from the ad.

^ With That Said ^ there is a balance (or method) to those sites outside the IM Niche. All you have to do is visit those sites and see for yourself that there are no traditional 'IM list building methods' immediately apparent. Rather, the sites use other methods such as: Free Samples, Free Trials, etc. In the end, some IM methods come into play at some point, but it is the 'paid advertiser' that makes money from the customers and pays the site owner.

This may sound odd to you, but the majority of the sites I am involved in are actually driven by advertisers. It is a business model seldom discussed here and I don't know why for certain.

Sorry if I rambled on there. Wife is in a weird mood and just need to ramble I guess

List building is universal, not just for internet marketing. It's necessary for every business.

It's great, but not necessarily essential to running a successful business. Take my favorite list of all: Papa John's. They'll keep going if they stopped email marketing.

Not saying don't make a list though, so don't get the wrong idea. They're great.

There is of course a lot more niches out there that are very profitable also but the reason some people don`t ever go outside of the IM niche is because it`s very profitable

with regards to things getting saturated it`s not going to happen any time soon

there are more and more people coming to the internet each and every day

there are literally millions if people out there, all you need is to build a list of a few thousand targeted subscribers in order to make a very good income so it`s not hard at all

with regards to other niches you can easily find solo ads in other niches, i did a thread on this a while back, it`s a method which i used and it works like ganbusters

    heres the thread

Usually an IM'ers inbox is full to the gills with other IMer's offers/messages. Non-IM niches will have a much different attitude about your list, a more appreciative one.

I've built a 6 figure list in a niche that most people thought wasn't profitable. Now after being ranked in one of Clickbanks marketplace categories, I constantly build a list on autopilot by leveraging traffic, high conversions and affiliates.

This niche is probably the farthest away from anything internet marketing related and would be the industry to turn down offers the fastest, in my opinion.

List building is going on in almost every niche under the sun. You are just most exposed to the IM niche. 'Over saturation' is a sign there is money to be made
