Hey man, how the heck did paypal manage to get a single char domain name?

I've been trying for a 2 char one, but every place I go to, say no, they're reserved.

x.com was founded in 1999 by Elon Musk (The Founder of the Tesla Automobile.) They merged with another company and changed the name to PayPal shortly after.

You can do a search for "Elon Musk" or "x.com" at wikipedia formore info.

okey dokey, cheers, but that doesn't explain how the original guy got a single char domain... I can only guess that the laws/rules have changed since then?

I measure a true entrepreneur by their serial success. Anyone can be struck by lightning once. But to do it again, and again... well, that shows capability.
