Traffic method for video site?

Hello recently i created a video site, what i do is search youtube videos (the good ones) and embed them in every post with small 1-2 lines description.

I wonder if there is any possibility to get search engine traffic because there not enough text in posts.

what other traffic techniques could i use except forums yanswers facebook and ads?

I'm not sure if you can get higher ranks when you embed videos.

    But you should use
    https://ads.youtube.com/keyword_tool/

    1. Find the "TAGS" of the #1 ranking
    2. Optimize the Title and Description
    3. Make sure you use the perfect Thumbprint, Don't use the Youtube Default. This is very important to getting clicks
    4. Make a response video on your number rank

Have you thought about finding the top comments of a YouTube video and then picking out the good ones? This will add the content of your post, and you could give credit to the user who posted the comment.

Hey Alex, what are you trying to do with the video site? Im a little confused. When you say you embed them in every post. Not sure that you mean by that? Is there not write up at all about each video? Can you give me a little more detail? If you link the site I would love to take a look. Videos in and of themselves are hard to SEO outside of their keyword tags.

well, as an example when you Google
      Cute Pinguin Being Tickled

Which is your front page video there are already 6 videos on page one within the top 7 spots. So, you may wish to do research and find things you actually CAN rank for easily. This would be tough to rank for even for a seasoned IMer.

Always remember building the site is just a physical act kind of like your wedding day. If you didn't do your research right you're going to find yourself in bed with the wrong... er... Uh, shall we say niche.

Also please go check the spelling on the title of your video. You will NEVER rank for it with the spelling error you have.

To get traffic to a video site get really good at stumble upon and reddit. If you can master those two you can drive nice numbers to your site.

      I hope this helps, Patrick
