Getting Organic Traffic Quickly Or At All Becoming Almost Impossible?

I have launched a new product site recently, which is built on a premium WooCommerce Word Press platform.

It works great and for the last 8 days I have been adding original product-review content interlinked, which I then add to several relevant social networks.

( I have also began submitting the original content to several syndication sites, but they are slow and I now find some of them will only accept an article if it is only published by them. This makes them worthless in my view. This is a trend that has escalated after Panda)

I have also added products with quality descriptions. All in all, 12 original articles and about 60 products descriptions have been indexed by Google, yet I have had not one organic search hit.

Even a year ago, I would have had at least a few search hits daily from Google, based on the original 800-words review articles. But lately, I have noticed the only why I can get search hits early in the game is by buying adwords, which never pay for themselves in my experience.

Am I missing something? Because based on many posts I read on this forum, others are having great success generating traffic the organic way.

Or is it time to stop plowing hours into trying to build products sites build on content? Or, must I wait months to see if I get results. (By the way, that is not really an option because I can make income other ways online not using a product site).

Wondering if any of you warriors are experiencing the same lack of search hits on new sites doing it the Google way with original content?

I'd appreciate you input.

Sometimes it just takes time to get ranked in the search engines. It can depend on a lot of things like your keyword competition, the age of your site, on page and off page SEO ect...

I have some sites that started making money in the first month, other took 6 to 8 months.

My advice would be to continue what you are doing with adding fresh content. I would add on article a week to keep your site updated and fresh.

But you are also going to need backlinks. Not spammy ones, but high quality backlinks.

Try press releases and guest blogging. They are both safe and they will give some good link juice.

Also, you don't always need to rely just on google. There are a lot of ways to get traffic without relying on the big G.

You should try to find out where your target audience is hanging out and target them there.

Try posting on forums related to your niche. A few good forum posts with a link in your signature can get you some highly target traffic.

Find a few high traffic blogs that are in your niche. Become a regular commenter on these blogs and you will eventually build a following for yourself.

Sometimes you need to take a step back and think a little outside the box instead of following the masses.

When I build a new site it usually takes me about 6 months to have it on 1st page of Google if I am lucky and not until then will it start producing sales from search traffic . If you want targeted traffic fast do a small direct to site media buy, you can get tons of quality traffic fast. As far as Google adwords traffic that is the best traffic there is as a product owner you should be looking to make your money on the back end with google. They will even let you target according to sale which is priceless data. Best of luck
