I have been using tinyurl.com to cloak my affilate links. Today however, when I test the link I keep getting the HTTP 500 internal server error. What other cloaking services are out there that are good?

Thanks!

bit.ly is a good one. It tracks clicks in realtime.

You might consider running a URL shortener on your own domain so that you don't rely on some free site that could delete your links at any time. There are many free scripts, and plugins for WordPress if you use that.

I agree with Dan. Running your own URL shortener is much better - another perk is that you are able to modify the destination after you've created the link, so if your link destination dies you can redirect it to something else (completely different). Won't give you too high of a conversion rate, but it's better than wasted (404) traffic!

I use pretty link and it is pretty much easy to use but not for tracking unless you upgrade your account.

I use Google url shortener(goo.gl) and it is quite good. I think you can try that.

I use easy php redirect script...it was a little pricey, but it's great for cloaking.

It allows you to hide the main URL totally and only display your cloaked URL.

Do you need the link cloaking script to run it on your own sites, or you need something to generate the links that you may post to 3rd-party resources (forums, social networks etc)?

    Hi C8,

If you are using WordPress, this is a good free cloaker:
