Another ponzi scheme bites the dust: Feds Halt Alleged $600 Million ZeekRewards Ponzi Scheme: How It Happened And What's Next - Forbes

I have now successfully predicted this EXACT fate for three high profile very popular ponzi schemes in a row including 12 daily pro, ads surf daily, and now zeke rewards.

Years ago I used to get flamed by promoters and "investors" in these ponzi schemes. Many of them trying to tell me that because the opportunity had a product or service linked to it that it could not be a ponzi. Also the last two have boasted the validation of "SEC" and "FTC" lawyers. I have listened to "quack" lawyers that think they can use legalese to somehow disclaim a ponzi into legality... Sadly some people think that the title "lawyer" somehow means that the advice rendered is trustworthy.

Folks, it's actually easy to avoid ponzi schemes... Quite simple really... If is smells like a ponzi, looks like a ponzi, and quacks like a ponzi... It's a ponzi.

If you think you are going to "invest" your money into some sort of bizopp online and earn money through some sort of "matrix" or other form of the classic pyramid scheme and if you are going to do so in a business where at least 70% of the money is not generated from direct sales of consumable product or services and less than 30% from the sale of distributorships You are looking at a Ponzi Scheme.

If you think you are going to make money from investing in some multi-level business opportunity and you are going to make money off the "investment" without any other effort on your part to sell products or services... Then you are looking at a ponzi scheme.

I have had the good fortune of being frinds with, doing business with, and providing products and sevices to many millionaires who generated their wealth online. Not a single one got rich from participating in Ponzi Schemes.

However, I have observed and critisised the rise of a few who created Ponzi schemes and I have predicted and witnessed their fall and in some cases incarceration.

Those who participate and profit from Ponzi Schemes are liable and can be required by the SEC to pay back any profits they recieved. In cases where they are heavily involved in the promotion of Ponzi Schemes they can also be prosecuted criminally.

Those who promote and participate in ponzi schemes are also less likely to be taken seriously by their peers who often loose respect for and trust in the individual involved in promoting Ponzi Schemes.

If you are tempted to become involved in "gifting" "HYIP" or other opportunities that even remotely resemble Ponzi Schemes my advice to you is to walk away and start a real business. Develop, create, and market real products and services. Not only will you preserve your own credibility you will make more money faster with less effort ;-)
