Need help on creating Sub-Directories

Hey,

Iam thinking to create sub-directories for my website...

Can anyone tell me how can I achiev this in an easy way..? I use wordpress..

So any plugin or any other techniue that I can use it in an easy way...

    I create sub directories from my servers control panel. I then typically instal a new version of wordpress in that directory and run it as it's own site.

    See if your hosting company has tutorials on how to set up sub directories.

    You don't really need to create sub-directories to have URLs that look like sub-directories in WordPress.

    In your WordPress settings, you define the permalink structure.

    You can have it be something like /%category%/%postname%

    Then when you write a post, put the post in the "whatever" category and its URL will be /whatever/name-of-the-post.
