  • It's simple. In your niche, find out what makes people have an emotional response to the product you are offering. Dont write about the product or what the product does. Write about how the product benefits the people who need it.

Then create titles based around those benefits. Create stories, scenarios, or whatever. Target a different keyword with each article.

You could also go to EZA and look at what others promoting the same products are writing about.

    Here's the easiest solution:

Go to Amazon, find best selling books in your niche, look at their table of contents.

That should give you all the ideas you need to write great articles.

    - Delicious (search for your keyword and take a look at the titles on the most popular ones)
    - Search google for "most popular posts" +"your niche"
    - Ask your subscribers what they want to know more about
    - See what products in your niche are the hottest selling products (take note of what the topic of the product is about and this will help you get an idea of what kinds of topics are most popular.)

To come up with good titles that will grab people's attention, try these:
    - Digg (look at most popular stories)
    - Propeller (same as Digg, look at most popular ones)
    - Scan through your email box and see what titles pop out and grab your attention. Create a folder and store every email subject that caught your attention and was compelling enough for you to open and read

I find a really good technique is to look through my server logs to see:

    a) the keyword phrases that visitors typed in to arrive at my site
    b) the keyword phrases that visitors typed in once they have actually arrived at my site

The second one in particular indicates that people like your site enough to do a search but can't easily find what they are after. Pick the most popular searches and write about them.

If I don't have a particular project in mind, I go to a new aggregator like Fark. There's an endless supply of articles there for me to read, and it's never long before something catches my interest.

      Let's start from the beginning.

In order to decide how you're going to get ideas for your article, you first
have to decide what kind of article you're going to be writing.

Is it going to be a fact based piece?
Will it be an opinion piece?
Will it be a combination of both?
What topic in general will you be writing on?
What is the ultimate purpose of your article?

In other words, what do you want your reader to do when they're finished
      reading it?

How you will get your ideas will vary greatly depending on what you're
      writing about.

For example, if I want to write about some Internet marketing topic (there
are so many to choose from) and I can't decide on one, I'll simply go to
a forum, look at some of the things people are asking about and write an
article in answer to one of the questions. As a matter of fact, in the article
itself, I'll even start off with something like, "Today at the Warrior Forum,
so and so asked about..." and so on. This is a great way to get ideas and
it will work for any topic as long as a forum exists for it.

Another great way to get ideas for articles is to hit Google Trends. These
trends change every hour. If you're not looking for anything specific (again
it depends on what the purpose of the article is) you'll get lots of great
ideas there. People who do Bum Marketing and tackle many niches usually
have an easier time finding ideas because they're into so many things.

On the other hand, somebody who is in one very tight niche where there
isn't a lot to write about, well, they're going to have problems.

And let's be honest. If that's your situation, where there is only so much
you can write about why men go bald, you're eventually going to run out
of ideas unless you start repeating yourself. That's why opinion pieces are
so great because you can talk about the same subject from different
      points of view.

For example, let's take the baldness thing.

You could write something like, "Do Women Secretly Prefer Bald Men?"

      Or

"Are Bald Men Discriminated Against In The Work Place?"

See, you can tackle some many things about baldness not directly related
to why men go bald and then sneak in the "cure" for baldness (if that's
what you're selling) at the end, depending on the slant you took.

You could get ideas for articles from going to the library and taking out a
book on the subject you want to write about.

You could get ideas from just looking at book titles. Go to Amazon for that.

You could get ideas from watching TV or reading a magazine in the field
      you're writing about.

Honestly, to me, writer's block comes from laziness. There is no reason
why anybody should have trouble finding things to write about with all
the information readily available. Heck, I didn't even touch on simply going
to Google and looking up some keyword phrases. Anything that's in any
kind of demand is going to have thousands, if not millions of pages of info.

My problem is I can't stop thinking of stuff to write.

These days, I'd much rather be plucking out a tune on my guitar or
      shooting down enemy aircraft.

Anyway, hope this was of some help.

To me i will sit down and brainstorm for ideas. I try to expand the topic by searching it on google keyword tool and see what other topics there are that can be written.

Then for each topic i will try to expand again. Like for example different methods to do the same thing. For the content i will just research into that topic and then write it from what i understand. I get more knowledge and i churn an article out!

I don't think the article should have a lot about the product you are selling, but rather the blog or website you will be sending them to. What do you people think?

As the number 2 rated author at Ezine in one of the most completive fields on the internet I feel qualified to give you a little advice.

    1) The first thing you want to do is extensive key word research. If you want to make money quickly only target a few key words. I am trying to build a large site to dominate my niche so I am targeting over 50 keywords. Even with this approach in only a six months time my revenue and traffic is increasing each and every month.

    2) The next step in to develop the title to your article. Many times I spend more time on the title than the actual article itself. Your keywords need to be in the first three to five words of the article. They almost must appear in the first and last paragraph of the article.

Ezine allows you 100 characters and I attempt to use the all. Because they take up two lines in the "Most Recent Articles Posted Section" where the vast majority of your initial traffic comes from. I find they are viewed more often than one line titles.

Finally for search engine benefit I attempt to place as many keywords in the article as possible without it looking to foolish.

    3) Now you write your article around your title. I find 350 to 450 word articles work best.

    4) Remember, you are not writing educational articles, but copy write material. You are just supplying the reader enough information to entice them to visit your website.

    5) Always post to Ezine first and then post to other sites that might be of benefit to you. I have just started using Article Submitter Pro and I am happy with.

    6) A recent remark from the Google expert who is always quoted, I am sorry I forget his name, made a new suggestion that I had not seen before which I have implemented.

This was to create a back link back to the article on your website. Since Ezine only allows unique content. You must wait until your article is accepted at Ezine and then put it on your website.

Most reputable article submission sources allow in the resource box two links back to your website and make sure one of those is to your original article.

    7) Don't worry about article spinning or duplicate content.

    8) I found this on this website and thought it would be very useful in increasing the rank of your articles. Unfortunately, I have not had time to try it yet, but it is on my list and I need too. Metafilter Article Marketing Trick.

Hope this helps a little. Bill.
