How I more then Doubled the Conversions of my campaign with one simple Tweak
Now I do a lot of video marketing and all the traffic coming from this campaign is from one video ranking at the top of Google.
So what I was doing in July was direct linking the traffic direct to the offer. The conversions weren't outstanding. I got a .53% conversion that month.
I decided to try something different and what I did was create a simple Report explaining the product I am promoting further and I swapped out the link in the description area of my video to a squeeze page link.
I also changed all the annotations in my video pushing the woman to download the free report.
In the report I have a call to action to the offer on the first and last page. As well as other clickable links within the report.
I then set up a 4 email sequence in my autoresponder.
Just from this one tweak to my campaign not only have I built a list of 50 woman the conversions for this month are up to 1.27%.
Just another note: I kept the direct link in the description area just lower down the page for those woman who rather purchase the product directly without downloading my report.
So the moral of this thread is: The longer down the funnel you are able to take someone the more likely they are going to convert to a sale.
It's easy to direct link to offers but just think about how much money you are leaving on the table by not taking the time to set up a proper funnel of your own and build a list.
