blog vs web 2.0 design web-site

If you know, is there any difference between blogspot site and web 2.0 web-site? i mean, wich is better to make in order to get top positions in google search; or it really doesn't matter?

    I'd personally suggest going with a web 2.0 site for both traffic and ranking.

        Just based off personal experience, submissions to web 2.0 sites have always ranked higher and brought more traffic than blogs on BlogSpot

        NOTE: Everything I do is pretty much in the IM niche so it may vary a bit.
