List of persuasion techniques?

Hi everyone. I am looking for a list of persuasion techniques used by marketers and public speakers. A while ago, there was an individual in one of the posts that had a huge list. I mean most of the things I hadn't even heard of. He listed like a paragraph of techniques.

    Read "Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion" by Dr. Robert B. Cialdini. That should get you pointed in the right direction. Dr. Cialdini's also wrote a book titled, "Influence: Science and Practice".

    one thing to be aware of is there is a big difference between persuasion when you are speaking to people in person and when you are using pesuasion on paper, or online.

    if it is online, or on paper then you need to learn copywriting

    if it is in person, my opinion is check out a guy named Tom Vizzini and his site essential-skills.com. You can also see some of his videos on youtube.

      Persuasion techniques come from the heart not a script. No matter your standing or experience as a salesperson, belief and confidence in your product or service is more valuable a sales asset than any salesmanship instruction manual.
