Hi Everyone!

I need some help!

I have been doing everything I can to drive traffic to my blog. Yet, in two weeks, I have had 20 visitors. Can you please tell me what I can do to improve my blog, and what to do to get more traffic.

Things I have done to try to get traffic...
1. Written articles linking to my blog
2. answered questions on yahoo
3. posted videos on sharing sites
4. posted in forums

essentially, I would love to get tons of traffic to click onto my adsense links. Any advice would be great!

HERE IS MY BLOG

Thank You!
Matt

Hey Matt,

Where have you been submitting your articles to?

Your blog has good content on it, but you might want to make it look a little bit more personalized and a bit more "video making" oriented.

Best,
Shane

Maybe it is the keywords you are targeting? How are your pages doing in the search engines for your keywords?

Matt, I understand your frustration.

Getting traffic is very difficult. I believe it all starts with great content. You also need to find a balance between your content and the amount of advertising you do.

Looking at your blog, I see a lot of advertising and not that much content.

Looking at your post on outsourcing I see a short paragraph that really doesn't help me understand the ins and outs of outsourcing.

Try giving readers a little more info on the topic.

Make a case study. Explain step-by-step how you had a project and how outsourcing helps you complete the project. Give them tips and tricks that will help them find a person to outsource to. Show them the pitfalls and how to avoid them.

Also when writing on the blog tried changing the format a little bit. A big long paragraph is really not very fun to read. Go look at some popular blogs and see how they format things and try to come up with something similar.

In business, it is much harder to find new customers for your products, than to sell a product to an existing customer. The same is true in the world of blogs. Getting new visitors is more difficult than getting traffic from previous visitors. Give people a reason to come back to your blog. Offer such great and incredible content that people will check your blog every day to see what new and exciting things you have written.
