JVZOO - some questions

Hi all,

I am just getting started with jvzoo, and can't figure something out.
I am making a landing page using the jvzoo platform. I've got the page all ready, BUT I can't figure out how to add the buy button: I checked out the button page, saw/copied the html code, BUT how can I insert this code into the landing page at jvzoo? I don't see any option there to add html code (since the page designer lets you put in the text without using html code), and copying/pasting the html into the text body presents merely the code, NOT the button.

Any tips would be appreciated!

When using the instant sales page generator, a buy button is automatically inserted. It's part of the demo page that the system creates for you. If you deleted that, no worries. Copy the HTML code for your button on the buttons page, then go back to edit your instant sales page. On the top left of the editor, there is a button labeled "Source". Click that and your sales page will show in HTML mode. You can then insert the button code in the proper place. After you paste the code, click the source button again to go back to the WYSIWYG editor. You will be able to grab and move it there, if need be.

Thanks a lot, Brian! I hadn't, noticed that button, since the description tags for the button icons only appear in Japanese for me. Worked like a charm. Now, I guess I can use some html code to vary the margins, too.
Once again, thanks for the tip.

Hi again Brian (or anyone else who may in in the know),

I'm really excited about getting my first product in jvzoo, yet there is a learning curve, as always.
I have a couple more questions about jvzoo:

        1) I have set up a landing page at jvzoo, but my question is: is it better to have the landing page there, or to use a site? (I also have a site for this product).
        2) If I opted to use my own site as landing page, how does it work with sales? OK, so I put the jzvoo pay button on my site, no problem. But then, if a sale is made directly through my site (that is, to someone who comes directly to my site), and not from an affiliate, would jvzoo "know" that I am to receive the full amount, instead of the 50% share I would have if I sold through an affiliate?
        3) Also: I have some affiliate "tools": banners, a free pdf ebook, and the like. Where should I put these, so that potential affiliates are aware of them? Is there some place within jvzoo where potential affiliates can easily see these things, or should I put them on my site? If the latter, where in jvzoo would I best indicate to potential affiliates that they can get these tools? After all, it seems to me that having such affiliate tools is a definite plus that affiliates would appreciate, so I want them to be very visible.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!
