Which is the best free Video making software?

Hi,

Which is the best free Video making software (not just offering FREE Trial)? It must be absolute FREE, and have most of the features. Waiting for suggestions and hope I will not be disappointed.

This is the closest you will get:

CamStudio - Free Screen Recording Software - Download Camstudio Now For Free

It doesn't have near the features the paid ones do, but if your a good enough video editor you wont be able to tell in the end product.

It is just a few days ago that I needed some free software to make an important video. I have downloaded Wondershare but I was disappointed. And it does have the watermark saying "evaluation copy" on it so i had ti give up.
    Any other suggestions?

You are welcome. For the editing instead of capture keep in mind every Windows Machine has some version of Windows Movie Maker and Macs have iMovie. Windows Movie Maker is very easy to learn.

For free tools, I've used Windows Movie Maker and CamStudio. At one time, I searched all over the place on Google and eventually settled on these two because they did the job and both were easy to use.

Active Presenter is by far the best free screen recording software out there, in my opinion. It's actually comparable to Camtasia (give or take a few features). And it's not just limited to "screen capture" type videos... you can use it to make other types of videos too (ie using still images)...

I was going to suggest Movie Maker but then I downloaded your suggestions and wow, this one's REALLY good. I hadn't heard of it either until just now. Thanks. I'll make sure to pass it on.

I like Screencast-o-matic, but there are some things you can't do unless (such as blurring out sensitive information) you upgrade to the paid version (but it's minimal - something like $15 for a year).

The best free video making software is Windows MovieMaker 2. It is very useful and also very easy to use. It is a capable little editor and ships free with virtually all new Window 7 computers these days package.

    You could also try Jing....

They recently removed Jing Pro, but the free version is still available.

CamStudio is probably your best bet though.
