I can't believe what just happened...Don't make this MISTAKE Warriors!

Warriors,

I have a story to share with you all, i'm quite shocked actually :confused:

So I was just doing a Google search because I was looking for a very specific financial related service, I saw an ad that got my attention and I clicked on, I loved the offer on the landing page as it was EXACTLY what I was looking for, so I called the toll free number on the landing page to get a consultation and guess what...? Number was Disconnected! (and it's not my phone, I verified.)

...they could have made over $5k from me......but they lost a potential client.

My fellow Warriors, please don't let this happen you...make sure your landing pages are updated and verify your phone numbers always.

    and the guy that was advertising got the offer disconnected.

    Thanks for sharing, Ahmad. It's easy to forget about our landing pages once they've been set up, but they do need to be checked regularly to ensure that firstly, all the information (sales pitch, contact, etc) is up to date and secondly that the sales funnel/sign-up/etc is operating as it should.

    No need to lose business because of small oversights or changes/updates that can be easily rectified.

      Haha I'm a dark humor SOB so I say 'let them not get clients if they are too stupid to update their home page'.

      Its also funny because I have noticed in marketing that errors like this and spelling mistake etc get a response of some sort, always... it's weird and I think Frank Kern talks about this a lot.

    I can never understand why ALL of the search engines have so many dead and old pages stored.

    I go to so many blogs, etc, that are dated 2003, etc. and are totally meaningless. So many dead sites, non-existent, expired, domain name for sale or expired.
