Article writing websites?

I am looking to start writing articles for others to make some money.

But the problem is that I cannot take up bulk orders. Because i am working on my own projects too.

Most freelance websites have too fierce competition and lot of time is to be spent in bidding and other formalities.

So do you know of any websites (etc) where i can write articles to get paid? Considering that I have following criteria:

- Spend less time in bidding etc.

- A place which is flexible enough to offer small gigs. - Because large projects require more commitment. And as i am busy with my own projects i cannot take up projects like that.

- I am not looking for very high earnings. But at least $1 100 words?

I am planning to write 2-3 articles a day to make 10$ a day. Do u think that's even possible considering my situation?

I like this site now (as a buyer) ~> http://www.iwriter.com (not the same site mentioned above)

However, back in the day I gigs from places like Fiverr and Odesk.com and Freelancer.com

Luckily I don't have to write articles anymore

    Good Luck!

    Cheers,
    Coby

Advertise your writing services in the Warriors for Hire section in this forum.

You may also want to write for ad revenue sharing sites like Triond.com. If you write articles, targeting specific keywords, you would be able to earn a steady passive income.

    Constant-Content, for these reasons:

    1. Choose what you write about (or take up the requests if you want).
    2. Set realistic prices. Penny per word shouldn't be the standard for any writer. Full rights pieces start at $.05 here (except for a few who still insist on bottoming themselves out).
    3. Each piece is personally critiqued by a human editor. Want to become a decent writer? The feedback you get from any denied article will certainly help if you put it to use.
    4. Build a reputation in the niches you want to work in: the site covers a wide range of topics. Start setting yourself as an expert author in your chosen niche. Keep track of who buys your pieces and where they end up getting published. Should you choose to get into article syndication marketing it means that you start with a list of sites to show publishers ("I've already been published at sites X, Y, and Z. They paid, but you can get it for free as long as you include the resource box.)

It's the only content mill type site that I view as "worth it" right now.

Textbroker.com is good and has reasonable rates. You have to be a US resident, though.

Find sites owners that just need the odd unique article here and there to help fill out sites etc

I hire someone in the UK to write reviews just as and when I need them

You can also go here: Online Internet Marketing & Search Engine Optimization Forum

People there need writers and they need them FAST, so you can get some fast gigs. Price yourself at $0.01 / word at first so that you can build a client base. If they like you, they will keep coming back to you, and at that point, you can start charging $0.02 / word.

yeah but after a while, when you have more reviews on any freelancing website and more reputation, you'll win projects far more easily and people will hire you without even bidding

I tend to use the freelancing sites to find long term clients. I deliver the highest standard of work possible and by doing this I find they want repeat business. It can be a pain with all the bidding but it gets easier once you've got yourself established. Take them away from the freelance sites and you can work on your own terms.

Writeswap is fairly busy these days. Other than that it is Elance and Odesk. Oh and Guru.com is another one. Why not sell your services on this forum?

    Hey all!
Thanks for the awesome responses! I will check it out !

I do not want to advertise on this forum because again its would be something big.
And you need time for communication.Back and forth. Reviewing, explaining, clarifications.

I am just looking for something that does not occupy my mind through out the day!
