What are the major pros and con between affiliate and reseller ?

Basically , why would one choose to send traffic to other web sites ( affiliates ) VS setting up a store section on your blog and reselling other vendor's products ( like a piece of software for example )?

With reselling you have the extra customer service wich takes a lot of time.

Right. As a reseller you have to answer customer questions, take care of refund requests, make sure that the technical setup of your sales site and to the payment processor always works correctly etc.

If you become a really successful reseller with a lot of offers and a lot of sales you will pretty fast get to the point where you need a staff. Otherwise you won't be able to handle the traffic anymore.
