Can Autoblogs Bring Good Traffic?

I'm planning to build about 20 autoblogs both on wordpress and blogger. The contents will be taken from related high PR websites. I want to monetize some of it with affiliate marketing and CPM/popup networks but my main purpose for this is just to generate traffic.
So do you think this will work or is it just a waste of time? Can it really generate traffic considering that the contents are not unique?
I want to hear your opinions since I'm new to this and kinda confused. Thanks in advance.

1 properly maintained manual blog is way better than 20 autoblogs... And copying other people's content is not a good idea as well..

Autoblogs are a very low value activity - you'll need a lot more than 20 to make any decent revenue.

when i first started off a few years ago, i wanted to put in minimal effort with a huge upside so i resorted to autoblogs. i had about 15 of them in different niches. did they work? somewhat.....i made about $80 in about a month. i stopped it after a month though.

the reason? the articles didn't make sense and i got spammed and hacked like crazy because i didnt really maintain them. i just let them go and make me money. slow money at that....

is it worth it? maybe...guess it depends on how much effort you put into it. I prefer building a list and going that route with a manually operated blog. hope this info helps.

Man, autoblogs are exhilirating! There's nothing I like doing more than reading snippets that have been scraper from other people's websites. Whoo boy is that fun

Do not go to Autoblogs route... there is much overheads we do not anticipate in the beginning...

    1. You need way more than 20 autoblogs to make it work

    2. Your shared hosting account with Hostgator is going to be Disabled within a month,
they will FORCE you to upgrade to VPS and then to Dedicated Server (Yeah has happened to many friends I know)

    3. As already mentioned above by fellow Warrior, your blogs will be outdated and will be attacked and hacked a lot... and for you it will hard to keep them in mint-condition, when they get hacked... your hosting guys are going to shut down your hosting again..

    4. And you know what happened with my 100+ such sites (no they were not autoblogs but mix of autoblogs, directories etc....)? LOL on the completion of the first year of domains registration.. one has to THINK Hard, if i want to renew these damn domains,
i have let go expire so many those domains of such so called auto updating sites...

what a mess to be in... to avoid the work of manual-babies, LOL we end of creating lot of work to maintain these automatic babies... and they still mis-behave all day long...

Why not you build one or THREE (if you get bored with ONE fast like me :-)) top blogs
which you manually visit like your private apartments in your own Private property..and
you take good care of them... and money will come!

    Wishing you all the best,

Autoblogs CAN bring good traffic if done properly. I still have Autoblogs getting 1000+ unique visitors per day, and make a fair amount of money. However, this is more of an exception rather than the rule.

With Autoblogs, it's a whole different mindset. You need to keep on building more and you need to accept that sooner or later they will probably die. Content generation is getting better, but so are ranking algorithms. It's a risky game.

I still think autoblogs have their place and best serve other purposes than money sites. If I was starting out I would not choose them as my main money making strategy.

I have tried it but failed :-(
Didnt get auto traffic. To get traffic you need to manually promote these blogs.
